Embark on a transformative journey with this collaborative album by Grammy award-winning artist Chris Berry and esteemed music producer Shaman’s Dream—a musical odyssey designed to empower your “Bana Kuma,” your innate creative ability to take thought and turn it into reality.

The process of "Bana Kuma," or sacred altering, is elemental. Thought, akin to the element of air, fuels our hearts’ fire, which stirs the waters of our emotions, and leads to manifestation on Earth.

Twelve archetypes represent twelve pillars of wisdom that assist in the elemental creative process, with three associated with each element. Each track is rhythmically coded with an archetype’s principles, more stories of which can be explored in The Book of Bana Kuma, by Chris Berry. 

Your interaction with these twelve is intended to enhance your creative power or Bana Kuma. Dancing is recommended for a more embodied understanding of these principles, and may be hard to resist.

Wondrous Now. Air. Here now is the most important moment. There is what we know, what we know we don’t know, and what we don’t know we don’t know. 

The third category is the largest by far. We live in a vast universe with alternate realities and realms. Rather than close to further understandings by claiming to already know it all, why not choose wonder?

Harmonious creation. Earth. Nature is the most pure expression of hiamatwehaum, manifestation in full bloom. 

If hinimawéh is listening, then hiamatwehaum is the manifested thing that comes from the listening. The two are a cycle of creation and inspiration that can pick up momentum.

Self sovereignty. Fire. Each of us is a blossom perfumed with the scent of creator, the gift of free choice. No one can take that from us without our cooperation/surrender. 

An individual’s conscious claim of self-sovereignty is a potent form of protection. There are many resonant allies who value free choice and who will sing behind a person’s song of self-sovereignty.

Nikka

Greater self. Fire. Our greater self reaches beyond the confines of the physical body, and includes all of the ancestors spiraled in our DNA, as well as our past lives. It is your connection to source and the true power that is you. 

Ziassou’s senses and capacities are far beyond those of our physical bodies. Sacred altering is designed to assist one in arriving and living by their greater selves. Each person’s Ziassou is that person’s best guide.

Shaman's Dream is a musical prayer for healing, transformation, love, and happiness for all beings.

Sahuna Love (Founder of Shaman's Dream) is a Multi-percussionist, DJ, Music Producer, Medicine Ceremony Facilitator, and Healing Arts Practitioner. Sahuna is inspired by the spiritual musical lineages from around the globe and the healing power of the drum. Every Shaman's Dream offering is a ceremony and opportunity for all who receive the music to create an intention and prayer for their own lives, utilizing the music as medicine.

Shaman’s Dream, Sahuna's multi-faceted music collective, has been at the forefront of the yoga, festival and ecstatic dance music scene, since 1995. As a producer and the musical director he's facilitated hundreds of ecstatic dance/ “live” world music concerts, plus countless live music for yoga classes and ritual retreats. Sahuna's other projects included being the co-founder of Yogitunes - www.yogitunes.com - an online digital music store that features a huge selection of yoga inspired music, Co-Producer of Ecstatic Dance Retreats, and co-producer of Desert Dwellers projects –Waves, Flames, Roots, and many other Downtempo music projects. 

As a percussionist, Sahuna has performed with countless music producers and performers such as: Porangui,  Bluetech, Desert Dwellers, Kaminanda, David Starfire, Yaima, FreQ Nasty, Jason Hann (EOTO& String Cheese), Isaac Chambers, Jai Uttal, Krishna Das, Dave Stringer, C.C. White, Donna De Lory, Tina Malia, Chris Berry and many others. 

Presently, Craig is performing and helping to produce/ stage manage for many of the transformational festivals and yoga/ ecstatic dance communities all over the world. Some events include– Lightning in a Bottle, Symbiosis, Beloved, Wanderlust, Envision, Imagine, Bhaktifest, Shaktifest, Joshua Tree Music Festival, Yoga Journal Conference, Etc...
