I fell in love with Childish Gambino's  'Awaken, My Love!' album last year. If you haven't heard the record, take a listen and I recommend you do so from start to finish. The original version of Stand Tall is so soulful with beautiful instrumentation...and the song goes on quite the journey by the time it's over. I steadily worked on this remix for a year attempting to have it go from a soulful hip hop feel into footwork territory. Much respect to Childish Gambino and to all the footwork artists & pioneers out there.
