After the release of her Subterranean Fiction EP via Rebellion, Israeli producer and DJ Magit Cacoon brings the heat in an exclusive mix.

Based in Berlin, Magit Cacoon launched her career through a residency at Sweat Lodge Radio, where she went on setting up her own label Girl Scout in 2011. With only a few carefully selected releases on the label, Girl Scout has grown to house original productions, tracks, and remixes of her own and her network of friends which include Kasper Bjorke, &Me, Nico Purman, Oliver Deutschmann, Tigerskin, and more. In 2012, she teamed up with the Upon.You family for the release of her A Place to Dream About track.

She's performed at leading venues throughout Europe such as Panorama Bar Berlin, Moulin Rouge Paris, and Ushuaia Ibiza, all the while linking up with artists such as Ian Pooley, ReYou, and Ambivalent to craft wonderful records geared for the dance floors. She's gone on with subsequent releases on Upon.You Records, Be As One Imprint, and Whatpeople play, with her debut album "Other Dimension" being picked up by artists such as Solomun, Maceo Plex, Dixon, and Sven Väth. Magit Cacoon's undeniably seductive style of performance gives way for playful melodies locked in by dance-floor directed grooves - painting an all too stunning experience.

Before you experience Burning Man, you always have an image of how it would be. After a couple days, I realised it was a lot different than I had imagined. Being in the middle of no where surrounded by dust, where everybody around you shares the same vibe and we all come together as one was like a dream. I wish I could live this dream forever. During my White Ocean set, the atmosphere around was shaking with a thousand voices; like that part of the song when the music stops and the voices die down, but a fragile few still float in the air.  It's a different planet. Without even realising, you connect with everything around you. Your music is asking questions and it's demanding for a story to be told. Thank you White Ocean and I can't wait to see you in the dust!

What a night it was at @tivitbilisi !!! It felt really good and refreshing to explore deeper & more melodic atmospheres. It was my first visit in Tbilisi and people were so receptive for my intimate and much more introspective set in relation to what I usually play. I hope my recorded set from that evening gives you similar feelings we all felt there!
