So, as life is busy and my studio room is being rebuilt, I found myself rummaging through my archives and found another interesting bit - this is still a 4-track, I think it's from 1999, I seemed to have been on a real mental groove.

I threw some neat VSTs on the tracks to give it a slightly modernized feel, hope you enjoy.

ko odlagam plasti jezika,
ki je povedal svoje  
in utihnil.

This is the third track inspired by "The Wake". Buccmaster recalls how, when he was a child, his grandfather rowed him out onto a fen mere. He looked deep in the dark waters and eventually made out the forms of great black trees. A place where people could summon the old gods. 

I normally reserve my nylon string flamenco guitar for care-free playing in the garden. Here I'm using it to play dark moody chords, from the Phrygian mode F#, characteristic of the palos of the Levant region. The form evolved from Andalusian migrants who worked in the silver, copper and coal mines. Unfortunately, when recording using microphone, I have to rush to avoid ambient noise, so this is a little raw - you can probably tell!
