Born in Sri Lanka, Janaka a.k.a “Jayy Vibes” is undoubtably one of the finest artists in the country. Jayy vibes boosted up his career in electronic music since 1998, ever since then he was influenced by the classic late and early 90’s producers and DJ’s both international and local who had pure commitment for the love of music.

In 1998  Jayy Vibes bought himself some equipment to learn the skill of being a disc jockey. He sooner realized through his passionate practice and relentless hours he would use to spin the decks that the energy he creates is worth sharing.

In 2008, Jayy Vibes signed up Club Zanziba; one of the most happening clubs of the time making his mark. further more in the industry, Jayy Vibes had not only earned the quality of his talent but also many hearts out there who have immense respect to the artist. 
Few years on he was invited to join club Amuseum in the year 2009 as the resident DJ and going on in his third successful year at the club.

Today Jayy Vibes has also been featured in some of the most talked about events of the industry and played alongside some of the well known international Dj's. Guy.J,Nick Warren,Cid Inc,Khen,Paul Thomas,
Avicii,Marco V and many more.

Most importantly today, Jayy Vibes passion has led himself to reach great heights of his career. Curio is a DJ and producer of underground electronic music from Colombo, Sri Lanka. After starting his career at the age of 16 as a mobile DJ playing mainstream crowd pleasers, he began moving towards a more underground minimal-techno sound in early 2010. Since taking up music production in 2013, Curio has steadily developed his restrained and subtle auditory aesthetic and featured prominently on the release catalogue of Jambutek Recordings; Sri Lanka's first independent record label for electronic dance music.

While his minimalist style is often overlooked in the local music circuit in favor of more high-energy acts, his performances at the acclaimed Pettah Interchange festival and other Border Movement and Bang Bang Events in Colombo, coupled with his constantly evolving output of original productions, have cemented Curio a place in the the history of Sri Lankan electronic music.

Dr Baby ‘s love of the electronic music has been in his blood since the early days and has been pumping the best Electronic tunes for over a decade now. 
His music has now progressed and is able to juggle most electronic music genres. His ability to  flawlessly mix higher bpm genres like  minimal techno and psychedelic trance is recognized as a unique trait by most of his fans.
Dr Baby still remains as a DJ who is yet to make an impact with his own productions, and as such his reputation is solely the result of his skill as a selector and as a mixer. As a result he remains in a position to fully explore sounds of all genres both old and new. His ability to fuse together seemingly disparate tunes and being able to play different genres are greatly recognized by his fans from all over the world. 
Currently playing as the resident dj at Sababa Café  in Whisky Point & at the infamous Saturday night party at  Mambo’s Arugambay from May to October &  back to the beaches of downsouth during November to April.
