Blessed with impressive writing skills, strong lyrical capability, positive work ethic 

and intelligence similar to that of an ant, you will find dancehall artiste Garrizon Curtiz. 

Garrizon Curtiz is a talented dancehall artiste whose versatility easily transcends 

into his music. His often unique delivery and flow has brought a refreshing taste to 

the dancehall scene which has placed him among the top lyricists in the music 

industry. 

A native of Clarendon, Jamaica, Garrizon Curtiz identified his passion for music at 

age 11 while attending Edwin Allen and later branched off into dancehall at 

Clarendon College where he completed his high school education. His musical 

influences include the likes of Jay Z, Fabolous, Bounty Killer and Vybz Kartel. In his formative years, Garrizon was widely known for free styling between and after 

classes, in local talent shows, and on sound systems in Clarendon. 


This early experience in performing, writing and free styling helped him to build 

his confidence and technique to perform in front of a large audience. 

In 2009, he was placed fifth in the Magnum Kings and Queen of Dancehall 

Competition and also matriculated at the University of The West Indies the same 

year where he completed a degree in Media and Communication.


Though juggling music and university life, Garrizon was still able to nab relative 

success via an ad deal with J. Wray and Nephew Contenders. This saw his 

collaborative single Champion with singer Melloquence being selected as the 

official theme song for the annual boxing show.

 Following the completion of his degree in 2011, he released his debut mixtape 

‘Garrizon Unleashed’ online and proceeded to release music under his label Inna 

Wi Genes Records.

 In 2012 Garrizon gained employment at The Gleaner company as an 

Entertainment Journalist and immediatlely his writing skills begun to set him apart 

from his peers. He won the Press Association Award for Entertainment Journalist 

of The Year in 2013, The Music Industry Acheivers Award for Entertainment 

Journalism in 2014 and repeated the accomplishment in 2015 when he was again 

awarded the Press Association of Jamaica trophy for best Entertainment Story in 

print.

 Having felt as if he had already proved all there was to prove in the world of 

entertainment journalism, Garrizon then returned to his musical roots by releasing 

self produced singles and music videos in 2015 and 2016 respectively.

Much of his content secured a strong fan base on social media and later attracted 

the attention of Billboard Charting producer Skatta Burrell, who commented that 

he had to play one of his songs 100 times to fully understand the complexity of the 

lyrics. Garrizon also pulled a similar reaction from record producer DJ Sunshine 

who decided to pull the artiste under her wings, thereby recording him on her 

popular rhythm titled Pile Up.

 On May 2016 Garrizon Curtiz released his anticipated single Nuh Trust Yu Ex 

under DJ Sunshine’s Yellow Moon Records, the song was well received and gave 

Garrizon relative exposure to the commercial music industry.

 Well known among his peers for his lyrically sharp mind and witty punchlines, 

Garrizon seems poised to be a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.


In 2016 Garrizon and associates established production team Rogue Nation, a

multi-dimensional entertainment hub, in a decision to bring all of his business 

under one umbrella. Under Rogue Nation Garrizon has released a new mixtape 

titled The Return as well as several social media geared music videos. 

He has also collaborated with Chaka Demus and Kiprich for a reggaeton record 

titled Return The Love which is produced to target the Latin Market.


He is blessed with warm personality, social commentary topics and lyrical skills.

Whether it's taking over the stage in the Caribbean with his smooth bass guitar or being a behind-the-scenes manager for TBN, or producing local New York radio or TV shows featuring the hottest new Christian music, H. Dean Reynolds knows the ins and outs of the gospel music industry.
It's only been over 20 years--over 20 years of working with the greatest names in gospel music: Kirk Franklin, Anthony Brown & Group Therapy, Donnie McClurkin, Rev. Jackie McCullough, Papa San, Chevelle Franklin, Hezekiah Walker, Richard Smallwood, Trini-tee 5:7, Mary Mary, Sinach, Roslyn Jordan (Michael Jordan's sister), Junior Tucker, Dunamis, Cece Winans, and a host of other Caribbean Artists. That's why he's fondly known in the industry as Dean "Divine Connections" Reynolds. And now "Divine Connections" is harnessing all his experiences to bring artists and community the best in radio promotions, radio interviews, promotional tours.
H. Dean Reynolds jumped into the music industry headfirst as a youth in Jamaica, and with the favor of the Lord, teamed up with the Warner Gospel Band. They covered most of the gospel circuits on the island and gained a wealth of exposure in the process. He received added experience working as a singer and a musician.
It was not long before Lester Lewis got wind of his musical skill and recruited him in his band as a bass player. This led him to tours spanning ten Caribbean countries and Europe. Later Dean moved on to a short stint at the local Christian radio station, LOVE 101 fm, as an outside broadcast engineer.
After moving to New York, H. Dean Reynolds began producing a weekly TV show The Playlist, geared towards youth and young adults; their music; their style; their language; their culture, for JCTV(TBN). In 2000, H. Dean Reynolds launched Dvine Entertainment Inc., which has taken a backseat to the media powerhouse Dean Reynolds Media Group LLC (deanreynoldsmedia.com).
No longer wearing a thousand hats, H. Dean Reynolds is now focusing on what he loves: putting radio listeners on to the freshest gospel music. "Distributing music, managing various Talents through out North America and the Caribbean and recently studied, Music Publishing @ Berklee College. --I can't stop talking about that because I already have my hands on some HIT SONGS," says H.
