Within the first 6 months of the band landing on the local scene they won the 2011 Niagara Music and Arts Expo Battle of the Bands, Played on 91.7 Giant FM Live To Air, and earned a Niagara Music Awards Rock Group of the Year Nomination, after a mere 12 months they made the top 10 of 97.7 htz fm's picks of the top local indie bands during their 25th anniversary party contest, played a prime slot during Canadian Music Week at the Hard Rock Cafe in Toronto, became a finalist in 977 HTZ FM's Rocksearch 2012 and opened for Canadian Recording artists Finger Eleven.

Crutch has been rocking the doors off of every venue they have played including venues like The Opera House, Barracuda Pretty, The famed Lee's Palace, The Hard Rock Cafe and many more.
