Stephen lies in an unmarked 'pauper's grave' in Deansgrange cemetery.
Stephen is one of an estimated 40,000 babies born in Irish 'mother & baby homes', 1000s died in the homes or having been born in the homes & many lie, like Stephen, in unmarked mass or collective graves together with people they are not related to, their short lives unacknowledged to this day decades later.
Stephen was born January 10th & died February 19th 1972, just three people attended his funeral in Deansgrange cemetery because both his birth & death were kept a secret & his existence remains a secret kept from his family, including at least 7 siblings, to this day. 
Stephen is my brother.

The is a recording of live performance practicing with eurorack. The grid sequencer affords idiomatic rhythm patterns. Event though the rhythm is varied with euclidian patterns, I could not escape the cantus firmus of my electronic music.

Cantus Firmus

Sleep is an electronic music composer and DJ from Dublin, Ireland. The music is best described as experimental ambient music similar to the work of Gas, William Basinski and Alvin Lucier. The artist explores a variety of symbolic and literal meanings of what Sleep can mean. The new 5-track ep on Urban Arts Berlin label titled 'Portals' explores symbolic meanings of Sleep, with tracks Daylight, Arise, Portal 1, Portal 2 and Sleeping Bells. Sleep  also DJs on Dublin Digital Radio arranging the mix to accompany the first hour of a sleep cycle, the music mostly consists of instrumental and electronic ambient music selected for that transitional period.
