Originally breaking through from her DJ residencies at London’s respected after-hours parties, Jaded and Tape,
Lenka has risen through the ranks to play alongside A-List artists Claude Von Stroke, Tiefschwarz,
Oliver Huntemann and Marc Romboy. From London to Slovakia and the United States,
Lenka’s racked up some notable festivals and club dates recently playing the Odyssey event at Fabric.

Lenka was also a lynchpin of Shoreditch’s Red Gallery art space and party location, performing and hosting events with Richie Hawtin’s Minus Records, Flying Circus, Secret Sundaze and Hybrid Life. In 2015 she built up a loyal following for her Dungeon parties in East London,
exemplified in the event series ‘Journey Into the Unknown” as well as playing at the thriving BC (Breakfast Club).
Springboarding from that came Paradox and We Play Music We Love in London.
 
As well as her musical side, Lenka designs clothes and hats. These became key to Lenka’s signature style and in 2017 she created her own
‘Only as Unique As You Are’ clothing brand. This led to launching the HAT party series - HAT (House And Techno)
and uniquely combining both her lifelong passions.

a deep n’ warm variety of tech-house and techno.

Lady Destiny Playing the Best in Soulful, Funky, Deep, Dirty, Electro, Minimal & Tec House... And Old Skool Garage...



I met Destiny at musical networking event and was overwhelmed by her energy and commitment to DJing. In a notoriously macho industry this lady has the class and skill to make you want to want to find out more. I few weeks later I got the opportunity to ask her how she got started and about her musical influences.
Destiny was brought up in a musical household where most of her family are singers & and DJs - Her Mother was the lead Singer for Black Harmony, with the hit single 'Don't let it go to your head' and her Father, a DJ for a top London sound System. This meant that music was always a big part of Destiny’s life and she started to collect acid house tunes at the age of 12, and experienced the club promoting scene from Mother and farther from their regular events.

When she hit 16 she became a dancer, dancing at Temple, at the Notting Hill Carnival and for Westwood. This gave her the opportunity to listen to all types of music and her tastes became really eclectic. Destiny would go to as many clubs and parties as possible eager to experience music and develop her knowledge of mixing, dancing and meeting people.
She fell in love with House & Garage in 1996 and started performing as Destiny hosting a weekly radio show on Chicago / Mission FM (90.6) for DR Jekyll. By 2001 Destiny was part of a radio show on PHAT FM (104.7) along side Sweet T - playing old skool garage and R&B. In 2002 Destiny played along side Crazy G on the Saturday grave yard sets on Funktion FM. In 2003 the opportunity came to perform as part of The Good Girls, along side 2 female hosts on Y2K fm(90.6) playing R&B, rare groove & House N Garage where Destiny was instrumental in creating the infamous grave yard marathon show 00:00 - 10am! After a year at Y2k fm in 2004 Destiny decided to go solo and went onto Touch Fm as their 1st and only female DJ, playing on Saturday nights until the early mornings. And now plays a regular slot on WWW.UNKNOWNFM.NET / 90.6 fm.

During this time Destiny’s residencies included: Candy Bar -2001, Soho (Fridays) 10 Rooms, Piccadilly -2002 (Wednesdays) China whites -2003 (’Time of the month’) Piccadilly, Sound Republic, & Shh rooms- 2004, Leicester Sq. Fridays), Touch me Tease me -2006 (Monthly), Youht club, Temple. Carling Academy, Islington (monthly), Bubblishous (monthly) - 2006.

In eight parts Iona acts as conduit for extraordinary, invisible and arcane forces. Inspired by the I Ching’s fundamental principles, her music resonates with a visceral and cosmic conception of human essence, infusing minimalist frameworks with finely tempered but lush emotive cues that bring to life the I Ching’s conviction that, according to the Wilhelm translation, 1950 of Hex 16 豫 (yù) “music has the power to ease tension within the heart and to loosen the grip of obscure emotions.” Iona’s music most beautifully manifests this idea in concisely exacting forms and to contemplative ends, creating a slow, serene and harmonious music that coolly commands relaxed states of reception, best for mulling over life, and stuff.

"At once as light as a fleeting thought but permanent as an organism passing on its code, the music conjures mindsets comparable to Coil at their uncanniest, the post-erotica 4th world sensations generated by Jon Hassell, or the dark energy expressed in David Lynch films and their soundtracks. Most crucially Iona achieves this through a synthesis of self-exploration and instrumental actualisation, employing an unusual composition strategy of inner cultivation and empathic performance to divine and realise a spellbinding, penetrative otherness."

In the search for spiritual enlightenment, her music brings an enchanted fourth world sound into a disenchanted twenty-first century.

Tricky Isa has been on his musical journey of expression from beatboxing to DJing, street dancing to an MC/recording artist and music production; always feeling to get involved with music in one way or another.

He started hosting club nights, which brought him full circle and back on his DJ journey. His first gig was on Valentines Day (2015) at what used to be Plan B (Brixton, London) now Phonox.

Tricky Isa decided to find a practice studio and sign up to London Sound Academy. Within this time he played at some of Londons most popular venues including Ministry Of Sound & Egg nightclub. After his graduation at London Sound Academy (2016), he toured with them in Ibiza.

In 2017 Isa secured a residency at Union nightclub (London). This was a great experience for Isa because he got to play for diverse crowds every week.

Over one year later, he decided to leave his residency at Union and move onto other ventures.

In the summer of 2018 he organised a DJ exhibition at Stockwell Hall Of Fame (London) to show case the style of music that he likes to play. Towards the end of the summer, he secured a residency on Select Radio and now he plays every Friday night.

Isa is also venturing back into music production, to contribute to and to create more of the sound that he is passionate about.
