A collection of awesome people and awesome art cars gather in the desert near Los Angeles to do what art cars do, which is to say drive around dry lake beds and play loud music.
This is one of my favourite things to do, especially with my friends who I miss so very much.
So here I go then teleporting in for a set at sunrise on the one and only Vibeapple.
One of my favourite things about playing music on the vibeapple, apart from the excellent sound system and pretty lights is having people all around me in a 360 degree sound bath... it's so much fun and I wish i could be there in person.
For maximum happiness imagine being in a desert just before the sunrise and let us teleport there together.

Welcome To Sunset Town - Sunday Sunset

The second coming of Sunset Town and as usual I had my chance to provide the Sunday Sunset soundtrack just as I do at the Australian Burn. This time it was a much longer slot so I took the chance to take everyone on a journey from the sunshine into the night. 
I especially dedicate this set in particular to my extremely hard working team at Sunset. This was our moment to let our hair down after an intense build and event and being able to let fly on our Shack's sound system was again an intense personal pleasure.

Sunrise Friday morning Celtic Chaos located at 10 & Crowe In Memory of  our founder.
Bittersweet this was, again a wonderful re-union, a wonderful sunrise, a wonderful camps gathering and we celebrated and said goodbye to Crowe the Celtic Chaos way..by partying harder.
It was so nice to see  many friends ride out to say hi. Great to see you amongst the dust!
Thank you to all the Celtic Chaos team for the once again impressive sound set up and creating a wonderful stage and area for so many burners over the week.

Sunrise. Burning Man 2022 - Friday morning with Celtic Chaos

Thanks to all The Mavericks and all the movers who made this a reality. A reality that we will remember for a long long time!
This was the final set on the now Infamous Sunset Shack.
The Shack became an institution at Seed quite quickly thanks to the hard work and passion of many and it was my honour and privilege to play the closing set on it since 2014, always before the Temple burn. This was the smallest distance I've ever had to walk to make the burn though after my set I have to say ;-)
It was sent off into the ether with respect and love and it gave everyone present the chance to send off a little piece of themselves with it.
We know it's touched many over its life.
Burning the Shack for us was an important step in being able to grow and evolve and also give many of our new camp members a chance to build and put their own creative powers to work on something new that we all are very much looking forward to sharing with you soon.
In the meantime enjoy and thank you for all the moments I've had playing for you on this little box we call The Shack. 
It shakes like no other!
Here's to the next one. The time to build it is now!

Maverick Burn - Sunday Sunset

At the close of another burn with my Sunset Town camp the Sunday Sunset came around and I drove up to the back of The Shack.
Because why walk…when you can bugggy!
Well, actually in fact the buggy was quite essential this time because a wee few hours before I had gone into the sleep of a dead man after one hell of a Saturday burn night that went well into the sunrise, well over the midday time and only just now was hastily woken up by my lovely cowgirl after my wee disco nap with only 30 Minutes until I had to press play! 
They. All. Let. Me. Sleep. Ahhhhhhhh :) but Whoah!!!
Coffee Pants Vest Poncho. Hat. Deeeeeep breath. Splash of cold water.
USB Headphones Recorder. Lets go Buggy! Varoom
The wedding was about to begin and my DJ friends had the field vibing… I could feel it from my campsite that’s for damn sure and I as drove up, just wow.
After the ceremony celebrating this love it was to be my turn, finally.
I was super pumped to drop the closing set as always but so dreamy as you can imagine after the weekend we all were having that I can’t even begin to describe. It was an epic feeling.
I probably could have slept until Monday but instead what you have here is 4 hours of musical bliss for me that passed so quickly and so amazingly that by the end I felt like I could have kept playing until Monday!
The Shack Shook and I really wanted for nothing during this set as friends passed up food and drink, vibes and Love. The sun went down, the fires were lit and we danced hard into the earth as The Shack’s Doppias exhaled deeply.
Sunset Town lives and breathes like this. 
And I as well, live for moments like this.
What a weekend…. Again.

The Good The Bad and The Burners ... Sunday

Monday Night 3 & Esplanade. Opening Party at Illumination Village. Burning Man 2023.
Let me attempt to paint the scene and tell you a little story.
This set was a wonderful journey from riding across the Playa solo in the heat of the six pm sun, right on time to jump on and get the music on to serenade the golden orb as it began its transition behind the mountains. Because this happens when the sun is still so high it feels like the twilight goes on for hours out there, everything takes on a hyper reality because of the light it really does seem otherworldly! 
The golden lining on the mountains glows like a snake lying across the peaks. 
At the same time the heat begins to go out of the air and it's much easier to be out the open and moving in the cooler air. 
Being on the Esplanade I had an amazing view from the decks out to the open Playa and the Man and as the evening began to get darker things at the illumination village really started to fire up, literally.
It's a fire art village so things were just exploding all the time in front of me and then the opening weeks fireworks began to light up around the city. Friends came, friends went, on foot, on bicycles, on art cars and there was dust there was dancing and fire everywhere!
It really felt like I was at Burning Man ;-) 
I played this set moment to moment with no plan and just feeling the vibes of what was in front of me. Safe to say I was having much fun, hope you feel that in this recording, my only one from the week.

What made this even more special for me was that for every year I've been at Burning man the Monday party after the event was always such a favourite moment for me. After the week all the art cars gather around Illumination Village to blow off all the excess Propane. There is no music just the sound of exploding fire art all night long.
I love it!
All the burners still left on playa after breaking down camps and all the other things come together and gift and hold each other in a magical moment as the last party of the event.
So it was super nice for me to gift you all with music and open the week there this time.
What a special Burn........ again ;-)

Monday Night at Burning Man just after Sunset once again for the ever amazing Flaming Flamingos and The Illumination Village for the biggest poofer party on Playa. Once again it went boom.... went boom many times. Once again a totally unplanned journey playing to whatever was happening in front of me with visiting friends and art cars,  drone shows, fireworks and the constantly exploding propanes of the fire art all over the village created a very fluid dance floor and a very fun set. I Hope you enjoy the dusty feelings friends.

I Love playing back to back with my good friend Julian Lacey aka Cadence. We never plan, never stress, just matching each other and taking every tune as it comes. So it's fun and the music goes places...just like a Dj Set should do.

Cadence & S.O.S NYD 2025

When Solomun came to Sydney I was honoured to be chosen as his 'plus one' This is my opening set.
I had an hour to warm up the massive venue and had to start from an empty space as the crowd quickly built and get us ready for the Techno and pumping vibe of a Solomun set. 
Having the big man behind me fist pumping and foot tapping got the goosebumps up and kept me on my toes.
Yes I had a blast! No pressure ;-)

Saying adios to summer with a Sunset at Cafe del Mar Sydney for the new Salinas party. On a balmy Sydney Sunday I jumped up as the Sun began to set and took us through into the evening.

One of my favourite sets from last year, a 6 hour epic Sunrise on the Dragon Bus of Burning Seed, Australia's regional Burn event.
Surrounded by friends up there and the energy of the people dancing by the fire Bhima kept me flying and time ceased to be a thing.
This is Bhima!
I stepped up burn night in the freezing dark next to the remains of the effigy fire and had the honour of taking Bhima through the lighting of the sky, as the sun climbed higher until almost midday.

Sunrise On Bhima - Burning Seed 2018

This was one of those perfect days that you wish would last forever. Floating inside the barrier reef of Fiji Islands is Cloud 9, a place that is hard to imagine or much less describe to you unless you've been there. My hope is this music fills you with the bliss I felt and one day you experience this very special floating bar and pizzeria in the South Pacific. Until then, you have the music.

Return To Rio 2019

The sun rose in Sydney on a New Year but the fires are still burning bad. After breathing smoke for over a month in the harbour city we have had a slight reprieve these last days, but we are the lucky ones. Many people did not have the chance to celebrate for they were bunkered down hiding from the flames on the beach, or trying to save property. Our heroes are normal folk sacrificing their holidays and risking their lives to fight these fires, save people, houses and animals. They have received little help from our government, it's criminal really. So much has been lost and it's still far from over. It's so sad. We need to hold our so called leaders to account here now and I think we will. They've drained our rivers, ripped our earth apart and neglected our bush now for too long. The fire has shook us from our apathy Down Under. The 'She'll be right mate' attitude is both a blessing and a curse. We need now to stand up for our environment and elect only people who can help the earth, not harm it.
Pray for us as we pray for rain.
And never forget what happens when fools get power, or even worse, corrupt fools. It has to change.
Forgive me for this rant if it has offended but I believe it's time to face these things full frontal, and to use whatever voice we have to shout out truth and fight for our earth.
Now... 
Let me share an escape with music as it helped me so much to cool my anger and loose my hopelessness. It gave me a precious spark of positivity in which to welcome in the new dawn of a new decade.
I hope it does for you as well!

Sunset On The Goldie - Burning Man 'best of' (July LiveStream)

From Sydney to Black Rock City with love and digital dust for The Celtic Chaos Camp situated at 10&b and close to my heart.
This was my Sunset on Tuesday in the Multiverse.
This year we lost Captain Steve Crowe so I humbly dedicate this to him.
I only knew him on playa but he made an impression on me and I will miss him. From the outpouring during this year it is obvious that he touched many people deeply and his departure has left a large void in many lives. 
A bright spark of our community has gone out and he will be sorely missed.
RIP Stephen Crowe ... Burn bright in the ever after and keep hopping

Burning Man 2020 Multiverse Celtic Chaos

This would normally be my most favourite set of the year. Sunday at Matong State forest on the expansive paddock at Sunset Island as the sun goes down and we party for the last time. And then that final sunset is always just epic and highly moving for me.
Even though we couldn't be there I felt a part of it and maybe, this will still be my favourite set of 2020.

Burning SeeD 2020 - Sunset Island (Sydney edition)

A couple of weeks ago I travelled out of town and into the forest for a celebration of Love and because my friend had just built an incredible sound system ( not necessarily in that order ;-)
This is my set giving those amazing speakers a solid go and giving the festival lovers a good dance... (also not necessarily in that order)

LoVEFeST 2020

Shane was born in Australia but his music is born on the Island of Ibiza, a place very close to his heart and ingrained in his soul.
It was at his first ever job working in a cafe in on the Beach that he discovered the music that would lead him on an almost twenty year journey to the other side of the world and back again.
“ Each morning I would put out the tables listening to a disc that my boss had in the stereo. It was a new release from some strange place called Ibiza. Everyday I played it louder and louder in the mornings.
I was hooked from the start right there in that little cafe by the beach.”
That chance encounter with Ibiza continues to this day to drive Shane and his music is still inspired by his expeditions to the Island.
He has traveled and played in many countries and has been greatly influenced as a DJ by the variety of places and people.
None more than the Island of Ibiza.
For the last decade or so Shane has been making an almost annual pilgrimage to Ibiza and has played at Café Del Mar, Blue Marlin, Mambo, Space, Ushuaia & Kumharas amongst others. Closer to his heart is the hippy scene and the more underground side of Ibiza, the closest of which is the Sunset Ashram, his favourite place to lay down many a long set over the years. The Ashram at Cala Conta is arguably the most spectacular sunset venue on the planet.
“The tribal, spiritual and music loving culture of Ibiza moves me and I feel that’s the purest place to play music... The vibe of the music and the people that it attracts...those are my people.
We all get lost in the music for months.”
In more recent years Shane has been making the journey to play at Burning Man. The Burner culture and the sound of the Playa has captured his heart and sound and it is here you could say that now defines his music. Where as a DJ he has returned Home.
He is a founding member of Sunset Island a sound camp at Australia’s Burning Seed famous for their massive sunset parties.
Producer and radio broadcaster and half of the Electronic Duo Electric Zeus. Electric Zeus have released singles and remixes worldwide since 2011.
At home he can be found regularly playing at major festivals like Sub Sonic, Return To Rio, Electric Gardens and Burning Seed.
Most recently he was chosen as the 'plus 1' for Solomun when he came to Australia and they played for a 5000 capacity crowd.

Shane sets can flow effortlessly between Deep House and Progressive always Dramatic and always uplifting.
