Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

One day, Sultan Khosrow and his entourage went to hunt deer on the plains far in the central regions of Persia. The king was astonished when his entourage came upon an old man in his nineties, barely standing up, who was planting fig trees. “Don‟t you know it takes thirty years for fig trees to grow?” asked the king, “It is time for you to give thanks for your blessing of a long life and get ready for the other world.” The old man replied, “Our fathers planted fig trees and we ate figs from them. I am planting trees for those who will come after me and, by my good deed, I am getting ready for the other world.” The king ordered his prime minister to give a sack of gold to the old man. Uper Acid Band live in a desert where jasmine tea and goat milk are precious. This is their third offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can give you energy and good vibes. Antonio Alterino, Traum, Think City and White Fly (UA) drinking jasmine tea and tell stories about forgotten kingdoms and precious jewels.

K-os Theory and SIAAH are making their debut on Sirin Music together with “Del Nava” EP. What do two artists coming from different countries and cultures have in common? Their roots lie in local ethnic and folk sounds, which mix perfectly with Melodic House, DownTempo and all other gentle and slow electronica. Both tracks from the release are a perfect example of the concept and was recorded in collaboration with another two artists —  Vale is featured on “Del Nava” and Lora Ute is on “Farda”

SIAAH is a producer, DJ and Audio Engineer, who was born in Tehran, Iran, and now lives in Berlin. His tracks are touched and inspired by the Persian folk music. Since 2010, when the artist started his music career, he played piano and setar, has been an audio engineer and finished at SAE in Berlin, and created his own music, obviously. SIAAH’s approach to music production is using ambient sounds as a foundation for building grooves. That helps him to express his feelings and mood through his music. 

Parth Mehta, known by his artist name, K-os Theory is a non-conformist & passionate music producer from Mumbai, India. He loves experimenting and creating fusions with ethnic Indian, African, Arabic elements with more modern sounds. His music has brought him global recognition after releases on labels such as Pipe & Pochet, Lump Records, Shango Records, Traum Schallplaten, Wood, Bullfinch, Patent Skillz Records, Egothermia Records, 238W, Groove9 Records and many others.

The first release on freshly started afro house label ‘All That Matters’ comes from Obataiye a relatively unknown name to the scene but what an awesome record he produced. ‘Nambia’ is built on a rhythmic beat with organic live sounding instruments and shakers. Add to that a staggering melodic groove and tribe sounding vocal and we have a winner we’re very proud of to kick off the label with. On remix duties we see Simone Vitullo and Newmanhere who both add their idiosyncratic sounds to finish off this awesome release.
