What a year!

Just when it felt like there was already enough drama going on for a whole century in a tiny decade, things became worse and more confusing by the hour. A sadly too well known Russian dictator started invading Ukraine in early 2022 and as of the years end is not showing signs of retreat. 

The time to not be political has clearly come to an end and so we set out to empathize with our sisters and brothers that have lost their homes, ripped their lives apart and express our condolence to those that have lost their loved ones. There is very little in our power to help, but with this compilation we try to raise at least a little money to help those in need. 

Since we're a record label and not an NGO we decided to forward 100% of the profits to Blindspots e.V., an organisation dedicated to help distribute material donations and evacuate people from embattled cities. You can read more about their work here:

Just like the sky is the basis for sunshine, clouds and rain. Consequently, nothing escapes being part of the big play, the mahamaya of life. Tantra is like the soft kiss between the bee and the flower, between the dew drop and the first ray of the morning sun, between your consciousness, the sunlit space and the openness that knows, and the moment of experience. It is the soft kiss that takes the form of hearing a sound. The knowing and the sound are indivisible and in this indivisibility there is magic. This magic is the tantra of the timeless moment - O'mnipresencia !
It’s beyond. It’s transcendental and it’s ourselves, whether we know it or not.

This tantra is the reality of the living moment of consciousness. It’s infinite, whether we know it or not. It’s the great mystery, whether we know it or not. It is like this, already. It has has nothing to do with achievement, but with acknowledging what is: that the present moment is wonderful, mystical, infinite. Acknowledging that it’s beyond any concept we can connect it with or any label we can attach.

We are mystical, transcendental, wonderful beings. Not just us human beings, but everyone, even the tiniest insect, the goldsmith, the mosquito, the little fly. Every moment in every sentient being’s life is simply amazing. This amazing mystery is the very core, the very heart, of the real tantra of experienced life. It has nothing to do with being a Buddhist or a tantric practitioner, but the tantric teachings explains this so clearly: how reality is for everyone, for you, me and for all other sentient beings.

Tantra is in the present moment, in the soft kiss of experience. Here the unity of space and knowingness are indivisible. It is here, in the center of our natural mandala, that we acknowledge this.

We would like to thank all the artists who gave birth to the O'mnipresencia project and who contributed with amazing musical interpretation and inspiration, shaping it's essence with spirit of a mystical transcendental journey.

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

A tsunami is a series of waves in a water body caused by the displacement of a large volume of water, generally in an ocean or a large lake. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other underwater explosions (including detonations, landslides, glacier calvings, meteorite impacts and other disturbances) above or below water all have the potential to generate a tsunami. Unlike normal ocean waves, which are generated by wind, or tides, which are in turn generated by the gravitational pull of the Moon and the Sun, a tsunami is generated by the displacement of water from a large event. Tsunami waves do not resemble normal undersea currents or sea waves because their wavelength is far longer.  Rather than appearing as a breaking wave, a tsunami may instead initially resemble a rapidly rising tide. For this reason, it is often referred to as a tidal wave. The Ancient Greek historian Thucydides suggested in his 5th century BC History of the Peloponnesian War that tsunamis were related to submarine earthquakes, but the understanding of tsunamis remained slim until the 20th century, and much remains unknown. After already having blessed us with an EP in the previous year, flieder is back on board and is setting the stage for their upcoming EP on Moodfamily in April with their first single. Title track “Agenda” shows their progress into a more reduced and intimate aesthetic. This time, more clearly assisted by modular synthesis, they move towards a cozier, stripped back and more natural sound. All we can do is cheer from the side lines. It’s a pleasure to have you back, fellows. We’re excited to see what follows next!
