Lately, I've been finding it appealing to combine seemingly incompatible styles of music. In the case of this Cooperation the sound of the EDM musician DJ Hero with my rather melancholic chanson style.  And out came something that I would like to call "Nostalgic EDM".

Lyrics in English:


Harry wore quite pale hair
Was sour and unapproachable
Acted like a newly crowned tsar

Could not dance 
In the nose fringe
Had a rather fat belly
In the face a slightly blurred pair of eyes

But every night he got over himself
He was terribly ashamed
And he'd struggle to get to his dance club 

There he watched the couples
Who, smooth and very cool
Celebrated the disco fox to the dance sound

He would have loved to be there
But even his old kitchen broom
Was compared to him supple-filigree 

One evening Larrissa stood

In letzter Zeit finde ich es immer wieder reizvoll, scheinbar unvereinbare Musikstile miteinander zu verbinden. Im Falle dieser Cooperation den Sound des EDM-Musikers DJ Hero mit meinem eher melancholischen Chanson-Stil.  Und herausgekommen ist etwas, dass ich als "Nostalgischen EDM" bezeichnen möchte.

I started producing & recording around 2002. Around that time I was also playing concerts and always felt at home on stage, which comes to no surprise as the child of a professional musician. I just grew up improvising on all kinds of instruments, so the addition of singing and rapping - especially freestyle - was just a natural progression from that.
