I experimented on this track some dark synth sounds and drum machine textures.

Chemistry

This EP is side one of the album, Industry. The album has been written in 15 minute chunks to suit a vinyl pressing. The three tracks on this side are design to be listened to in order.

Industry is atmospheric, ambient, dub techno collection. The deep reverbs and delay pay homage to the Detroit techno scene. The album cover is a from an oil painting called Tulip, and is set out here as a nod to the beetle cover of Massive Attack's Mezzanine album.

I started producing & recording around 2002. Around that time I was also playing concerts and always felt at home on stage, which comes to no surprise as the child of a professional musician. I just grew up improvising on all kinds of instruments, so the addition of singing and rapping - especially freestyle - was just a natural progression from that.
