He began as a guitarist, playing in blues bands until he discovered psytrance music, when he began to DJ immediately and produce shortly after. Since then he has kept going strong, organizing some of Canada’s best parties and has performed at countless more, while also working hard in the studio, collaborating with artists such as Random, Manipulation, Jirah, Wizack Twizack, Rastaliens, and Chromatone.

Virtual Light is best known for his twisted sunrise DJ sets, bridging night into morning. His style ranges from foresty and twilight trance to deep & uplifting Goa sounds with a signature mature complexity that’s ripe for a true psychedelic dancefloor adventure.

TesseracTstudio series continues with DJ REM’s mix.

￼Born in 1979, Rem explored musical universe during his childhood, by practicing music theory (solfege) and two instruments (piano and saxophone) for four years.
Addicted to sound vibrations, he discovered the electronics music beats and the parties atmosphere in 1993, with a lot of emotion.
Interested by the action of the DJ and electronics music creations, he learned mixing and two music styles infected him : progressive and trance music.
He met Dj Loïc, pioneer in French Rhône-Alpes region at this time, who encouraged him to go in this direction.
After years mixing with friends, Rem played in 1996 for the first time in an official party, and started to transmit his passion to party people, with Goa Trance and Psychedelic Trance sounds. Evolving in different organizations (Mantra Tribe System, Transplosion, Dream & Fly) he played in France, in Switzerland, and UK for a Free Spirit event.
With passing years, his interest in Progressive Trance music growth.
His course allowed him to share stages with a lot of famous artists as Sesto Sento, Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Wrecked Machine, Shane Gobi, Silicon Sound and more, in the past, and more recently with Ace Ventura, Ritmo, Day Din, Symphonix, Protonica, Zyce, Flegma, Time in Motion, Ectima, etc…
Through his eclectic approach of the music, his Progressive Trance DJ sets transmit force and emotions.
Rem is part of TesseracTstudio Label since February 2011, and is discovering tracks producing with Logic Pro.
He signed his first TesseracTstudio compilation “Lights of Ison” released in December 2013,

Maharetta series is back with a fresh mix by CHACRUNA.

Chacruna is the Psytrance project by Juan Fontoira aka Hypnoise from Spain and Daniel Carcur aka Ital from Chile. It was born in July 2015 inspired by natural plants as medicine and their great connection with nature and divinity. Its sound is pure groove, keeping the flow of energy at a high level, and with its deep bass lines its mission is to transform the dance floor into a ritual space. They have already performed at major festivals worldwide such as Shankra (Switzerland) and Freedom (Portugal) and they already released music on big Psytrance labels such as Nano, Antu, Maharetta and Tech Safari. Their first full length album ´Sacred Elements´ was released in 2018 by the renowned Spanish label Maharetta Records.
