The second single to come from musclecars’ debut LP “Sugar Honey Iced Tea!” is a transcendent sonic masterpiece by the name of “Ha Ya! (Eternal Life)”. This captivating broken beat, Afro-jazz composition delves into the enigmatic realms of the afterlife, offering a mesmerizing exploration of what lies beyond our mortal existence.

A nod to the Clark Sister’s original tune bearing the same title, “Ha Ya! (Eternal Life)” gracefully unfolds with the captivating vocal performance by German Jazz Award Winner, Natalie Greffel. Chanting the same spiritual tongues of the original, the vocal arrangement seamlessly invokes profound feelings of devotion and endurance. Paired with a phenomenal flute solo from Underground System’s Domenica Fossati, and a transcendent string ensemble, the track's intricate rhythms and soulful melodies serve as a portal to a realm where the afterlife is painted in hues of cosmic wonder.

Wow, thanks to cranke99 on youtube for posting a lost gem.  This DJ mix has lost unreleased music that I created in the early 2000's.  I have found the unreleased long version of "Gyenyame" but not the BESE SAKA.  I gave a copy to Joe Claussell who played it in a mix back in the day.  Other than that no one has it.  Enjoy the ride as David Chavez and myself take you on a journey through Deep House sounds!

Having a love and passion for the cultures of South America and Brazil, Shannon decided to team up with an all-star production crew to write some original Samba/Batucada/Brazilian Fusion. The lyrics being written by Shannon Harris and Natalie Oliveri in Spanish and Portuguese (translated by Carla Armani) were designed to reach a huge South American population. The song has 3 movements in which 2 of them will be available on the CD and all 3 released later on in the form of a Vinyl 12”. The uniqueness of a song of this kind is the 3 movements with the last being Samba/Batucada with rhythmic Capoeira, based berimbau licks, a killer driving bass line, La India type of vocals, gospel organ solo and afro-brazilian chants. There’s even a unique didgeridoo performance in the first movement where Shannon Harris plays it like a drum.

Under his own imprint, Urbanicity, he has raised awareness via communal art/music/fashion/events in support of global crusades for the last 15 years spanning its reach to audiences on 6 continents.  Shannon has honed his skills as a professional DJ for 28 years and world touring DJ/Musician/artist performing in 5 continents globally for the past 11 years. He has worked as a international recording artist for 15 years with releases on labels in Chicago, Japan, London, Kenya, and Italy.
