i go by gotico, spanish word for "gothic".
i'm a 25-year-old nonbinary latino-canadian music artist. i am an independent, self-taught vocalist & beatmaker based in Canada.
music was always an interest and outlet for me from a young age. with only using my smartphone & the bandlab app, i taught myself how to create music.
i drew inspiration from artists & bands such as "bring me the horizon", "björk", "radiohead", "the beatles", "david sylvian", "ryuichi sakamoto", & more. i am drawn to the genres of hip-hop, metal, rock, punk, new wave, goth, house, & various others.
i released my first debut album "expression" on january 1st, 2018 & later released a remastered version in 2020.
