'The Keeper' day 2. The second field recording documenting the sounds of Coolum Beach on Kabi Kabi country. This mornings recording starts with honeyeaters and a startled Willy Wagtail couple warning call as I was directly under their nesting tree. From there a wander to different locations in the park to record the various species. Some waterbirds chime in and in the middle a King Parrot arrives as the Black Cockatoos fly nearby. There are so many species in this recording that'll leave it to the twitchers to name them all. A beautiful morning out amongst the waterways on the plains that are now an industrial estate. You'll hear a few loud motorbikes and vehicles on the motorway which is within earshot at times. That's life living amongst human infrastructure.
