The SubDivision round up some of some of dubstep's heaviest and dirtiest mercenaries for the latest Paradise Lost offering of 4 remixes on the Interpretazioni EP.  Roguestar starts things off with what can only be considered an epic remix of an already epic track, Devil's Kiss.  Full throttle from the start and straddling the line between dubstep and breakstep, this track will appeal to anyone needing to destroy the floor at 3AM.  Lonewolf goes dirt for his remix of The Messenger, bringing the heat with his notorious filthy style, incorporating heavy synths with nasty breaks.  On the flip, Djunya takes things to the dark side of dub, with his re-take on the bizzarely spacey Elephant Walk. Currently a favorite of DJs pushing the deeper sounds, Djunya brings in heavy reverbs, 8-bit stabs, and his trademark bassline business to produce a brilliant and complex sound. Vesicle round off the release with what might be their heaviest production yet on the remix of The Rose.  Junglist vibes and bass terrorism combine to produce devastating material showing off the impressive skills of these up-and-comers from Finland.  With something for everyone on this release, Paradise Lost is going from strength to strength.

WORMSKULL is a collaboration between Bong-Ra, Deformer and Balazs Pandi. This concept originally started a few years ago when Jason (Bong-Ra) and Mike (Deformer) who have been working together since 2003 (Bong-Ra's Bikini Bandits Kill, Kill, Kill album) decided to work on a live based project taking the whole electronic/metal crossover a step further. Straight forward Anarchorastacrustpunkstep or Deathhall, Riffs, breaks, bass, hoovers and a dose of mayhem. Jason and Mike set out the layouts of the tracks and very quickly Hungarian drumgod Balazs Pandi (who has recorded and played with acts like Otto Von Schirach, Venetian Snares and Merzbow) joined the project on drums. Later Eniless (part of Deformer and dutch weirdo band Stoma) joined on guitar making Wormskull a 4-piece.

The young samurai ronin has been formulating his unique and devastating sound since 2002. Early Rave and Hip Hop influences in 1993 prompted the acquisition of his first turntables, which then led to an unrelenting obsession in scratching and the life long search for interesting musical melodies.

Teaming up with Newcastle based dj, Maroon, the duo formed one of the UK’s leading all scratch based music groups, NozL, and shaped their own record label in NozL Recordings. Although Lone Wolf’s early dark beats at 140bpm were made for the intention of double timed scratching, the structure of the patterns were similar to that of the emerging Grime sound and later, Dub/Breakstep.

The Wolf’s name has become synonymous with his own distinctive sound. Formulating heavy Dub/Breakstep patterns and blistering bass-line drops, Lone Wolf annihilates dance floors by drawing upon his influences of thrashing guitar riffs and death metal vocals, to showing off a more, old skool, breakier side.

His work has developed over the years to include releases on various esteemed labels and also produces as his alter egos ‘Shapes and Colours’ and Andy Kirk.

Lone Wolf is part of the energetic touring Community Skratch Games live events, which he brings his captivating head nodding syncopated beats and funky cutting style to the ever enthusiastic crowds around Europe.

Of late, Lone Wolf has focused his creative interests to film making where he can channel his passion of cinematic composition and music into one entity. This is where the future is headed and it is a very exciting time indeed.
