 Acoustic Pine has been  been writing songs and performing them since 1987. He has performed in rock bands, but  prefers playing acoustic originals and renditions. As quoted " it feels more rewarding to Me , and the songs I write are from experiences in My life". My EP  "BEHIND THE BLUE" is out on itunes and spotify its well and truly overdue, but it is finally there, as asked by tonnes of people  that have heard me playing and jamming  over the last 20 yrs :-)"

 He collaborates with other musicians also . The songs are about love and life, happiness and joy,lust and anguish about the crazy world We all call home, He loves being a Singer/Songwriter, , and enjoys hearing other peoples  music too.  

Acoustic Pine is the 1st born Son of "Rock n Roll Outlaw" Niel Edgley well known Blues /Rock artist, Nephew of Blues hall of fame legend Gwyn Ashton, and older Brother of Metal Guitar Shredder/Performer Marty Pine of the accomplished  Metal band DEATHS BOUNDARIES./Murder Hill.

Acoustic Pine has  performed in venues  including the Gov, Royal Family Hotel, Old Bush inn, Samoyed Brewery, Surf clubs, RSL's and functions among others.

Acoustic Pine also performed vocals at Karaoke contests winning 8 karaoke contests overall as a vocalist before Joining APRA and SCALA.

Acoustic has also been a street acoustic performer live  in every state of Australia bar NT.







Shapes Divide are a 5 piece progressive rock / post punk band from the southern suburbs of Adelaide. Drawing on influences from bands such as Dead Letter Circus, Alexisonfire and Karnivool, the band combines driving bass, catchy vocals and ferocious guitar riffage. Shapes Divide are soon to release their much anticipated second EP "Forever Engraved" which was recorded, produced and mixed by Reid Jones at Deep Blue Studios (Adelaide) and mastered by Forrester Savell (Birds of Tokyo, Dead Letter Circus, Karnivool). This EP has been almost two in the works and the band cannot wait to release the whole thing, but until then they have released "Wide Eyed Kids" and "Jester On The Throne" for you to download from Triple J Unearthed. "Wide Eyed Kids" is nearing 1000 downloads on Unearthed so be amongst the many to check it out and feel free to give it a review. Forming in 2008, Shapes Divide released a self titled demo in 2009 which has become quite the rarity amongst friends and fans. In 2010 they released their debut EP which received raving reviews and secured the band a slot at the Kangaroo Island Surf Music Festival where they shared the stage with the likes of Eskimo Joe, Hungry Kids of Hungary and Matt McHugh just to name a few. Earlier 2013 the band were invited to play the first ever UniSA Gear Up Festival where they headlined the lion courtyard stage and again shared the bill with Hungry Kids of Hungary as well as Ball Park Music and Asta. 2013 also saw the band share a bill with The Griswolds and played to a pack out Ed Castle. Shapes Divide have recently released a single from their soon to be released EP which has already gained a tonne of attention getting airtime on Triple J amongst other radio stations.
