I definitely wanted to go in an orchestral direction for this remix, just because of how epic this fight is in the genocide run. This one was highly requested over Spear of Justice, but I'll be writing a remix of that song too (maybe in late April). Next week's remix might be "I'm Blue", though I really want to remix Snowdin's theme (I could put that theme on repeat for hours, it's so lovely OvO) so I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.

Hopes and Dreams isn't my favorite song in the soundtrack, but I did a thing for it anyway since I promised I would finish it. Dunno what I'm doing next, I'll have to tinker around with a few songs, but (looks at calendar) Halloween is a few months away. Hi ho hullo, it's Dust, Jevil and Silphy this time. Here's some info so you know what tf is happening in this track. This is "World Revolving" with "Song that Might Play" and "Carousel Shuraxe." Normally, I would use one of my previous themes for my dusttale remixes, but I'm specifically saving those for something else in the future, so the main themes of (Dust & After Dark) are not featured here. It is sad day. Instead, there is something new written for dusttale at 1:22-1:40 and 3:12-3:32. I mean, there's a Gaster Blaster in the drop, and a sneaky bonetrousle bassline piano sequence so...?

He gets his own lil chorus's to himself. Go play, psycho.

As for the melody of "Song that Might Play" in this track, I styled it to be carnival themed, especially at 2:41. I decided not to go with my typical uncanny dusttale vibe and said, "fuk it," and made it lighthearted. Why? Because, I found it hilarious that this lunatic would have a cute "Song that Might Play," theme and I am so easily entertained, so the idea stuck and here we are. Maybe it's the cuteness that makes it more unsettling, but I find it funny af. In other news, Dust is a madman and I have no self control. You're welcome.

And can't forget "Carousel Shuraxe". It's a small cameo from 3:32-3:52. I swear I heard a cat. Did you hear a cat too?

And finally, any other melodies you're hearing are probably just your imagination, in which case, you should get that checked out. Wouldn't want you going mad.
