Herausgekommen ist unsere Streaming-Serie „Waiting for NACHTIVILLE“, die wir euch zusammen mit Electronic Beats in den nächsten Wochen präsentieren wollen.

All good things come to an end, but this is also the beginning 👀 For the end of our streaming series "Waiting for NACHTIVILLE" we invited Nachti darling Job Jobse @jobjobse. Job is the perfect cast for a fitting end and at the same time for the new beginning of our festival at the Baltic Sea. He has already proven that his knowledge of 90s trance is almost infinite and over the years he has earned a permanent place in the middle of the Nachti family. We would like to say thank you to our guest Job Jobse and also to the fantastic crew, who with a lot of love and creativity makes it every time to transmit a buzz of Nachti Feeling, even through a stream. Christy 25 grew up with a passion for electronic music he starting collecting wax as a young teenager & kept his talent confined to the 4 walls of his bedroom. In recent years Christy has secured himself residences in high class bars across the city of glasgow & has just recently supported Tommy Vicari jnr on his glasgow debut.

He sticks mostly to what he knows which is Romanian minimal & micro house, expect a journey with skittery high-hats, moving chords & deep basslines.

Gradually building a name for himself within the community, this won’t be the last you hear of C29STY.

An integral part of Portugal's vibrant music scene, he’s set to showcase his distinctive blend of spacey and stylised house music, promising to captivate the audience with his unparalleled blend of expression, passion, and innovation. With an impressive track record of wowing crowds throughout Portugal and Europe, Serginho has rapidly emerged as a prominent figure in his homeland. Noteworthy collaborations, including the duo "Blá Blá Blá" with André Mecre, and partnerships with Carlos Fauvrelle and the Austrian label Blossom Kollektiv under the Mont Blossom Music Group, have even propelled him onto international stages in Austria, Spain, and Germany. Twenty-something Dutch born, Berlin-based producer Pascal Terstappen is better known to the world under the production guise of Applescal. Blurring the lines between Beats, Ambient Electronica & low-key Techno,  Applescal's cinematic sound will take you on a sonic journey through the upper echelons of the dream world.

Having released three albums and a string of singles on his own Atomnation imprint, Cologne based Traum Schallplatten & Italy's Tarvisium Electronique and others he's prolific by nature. With a strong ear for melody he holds the ability to create beautiful textural soundscapes that swirl, stall and plateau for a thoroughly engaging listening experience. His latest work, the five-track 'Mirage' EP is a rough and ready package of oscillating acid Techno, cinematic House with some Eastern flavours. Darker than is previous endeavours it's not dissimilar to the work of Jon Hopkins.

Pointing in the sonic direction of his own label and also Berlin's Project Mooncircle, Hyp 192 is a blend of syncopated beat lullabies and organic sampled sounds that will wash over you like a flood of warm, positive energy. I’ve been pretty obsessed with simple ratios in the forms of chord progressions for as long as I can remember, hence all the long sustained chords in my music - for some reason I find chords even more satisfying in the lower frequencies, maybe we can pick out the ratios more clearly when they’re using slower wave fronts like with bass. I also love melodies and rhythms that combine different loop lengths so that interesting syncopation effects arise as a result of the ratios between the loop lengths. A lot of my favourite new tracks recently have used these types of techniques, so I decided to base a mix around them - Semiosis.

Semiosis is a process by which we create meaning from comparison. If I tell you a made up word that doesn’t relate to anything you know, you can get little meaning from it - meaning comes from what something isn’t, how it relates to other things you know. Music works in exactly this way, with us comparing meaningless wave frequencies to find feeling in how one value relates to another - a ratio.

Whether or not you like it, your subconscious mind is a massive maths geek, and it gets really excited when it finds a 1:3:5 ratio in the stream of air pressure information being received by your ears.  Ratio has the capacity to make us feel and make us dance. But it all happens without us being aware of it. 

When you listen to long drawn out chords and syncopating rhythms however, you can’t really get the full feeling from just a quick dip in, I find that it needs time for the ratios to wash over and sink in. The more time you give to it the more beauty you can find hidden in there. So the mix is very much of this long form, it doesn’t jump from one extreme to another like some of my other mixes, and needs to have some time to develop.
