"MUSIC RUNS THROUGH MY VEINS"

Thats how Ed Aka Edsel Fernandes would describe his passion for music. With the knowledge and insight that Edsel acquired as an assistant sound engineer, event organiser and all-round music lover, Ed has worked on his music and dj sets like no other. After coming to Dubai, Edsel met up with Dj Dan who shared his dj'ing skills and musical influences with Edsel, who absorbed this new sound like a sponge. 

Ed played alongside the likes of Frank Lorber (Cocoon Recordings, Nummer records) and Jamie Jones( Freak N Chic, Crosstown Rebels) the tech house Mistro.Apart From Playing for a host of club nights in Dubai he also co-founded STATIC a night dedicated to electronic dance music.

His biggest influences Ritchie Hawtin( Minus), Ellen Alien(Bpitch Control) and Magda(Minus) who contibute to Ed's style of Tech House and a Blend Of minimal Tech and Techno.

That good Soulful House, Deep, Afro, Funk, Tech, produced by a mixture of seasoned electronic artists and new global talent. Untroubled by internal strife, untempted by drastic changes of direction, inspired by the long shadows of its own history but with feet planted in the present day and one eye of the future, says proprietor Luis Radio, of the label.

Luis Radio has been a constant supporter of electronic music, has managed various Labels and Recording Studios in Rome since 1995, and goes full circle with his great new label established  in 2021, GROOVEBOM RECORDS is based in Rome, Italy. 
Musically Groovebom drops in cool waters with his own Artists  expertly blending the timeless with the new breed.
