This song is about such a kind of "hope prayer"

Introduction in German:
Manchmal gibt es Situationen im Leben, zu denen es keinerlei Problemlösungen gibt. Man hat vielleicht alles schon unternommen und versucht. Nichts hat geholfen. 
Der "Macher" und "Kontrolleur" in mir geht in solchen Momenten in die Knie. Und hervorkommt der Teil, der sich ganz der Hoffnung hingibt. Dann in einer Art Gebet an seinen inneren Gott und in seiner inneren Kirche zumindest um eine Linderung des Leids für all jene bittet, bei denen alle rationalen oder wissenschaftlichen Techniken und Methoden an ihre Grenzen gestoßen.

Postecdysis Hunger is the debut LP from Diaphonized Animals: the stench is unbearable. Featuring additional remixes by Seraphim and Tryce.

A mass of flesh decomposes under the sun. Bright rays cast through the few clouds left along the sky, illuminating layers of lacerated fat upon the rocks. Broken ribs, bloated meat, and a slurry of corporeal mixta propagates a fetid biome: a dank kingdom of holy rot. Seagulls lurk, tearing cartilage and tissue from the gutted excreta. Spoiled blood and other fluids leak among the intertidal reef. Crabs and other invertebrates feast along the teeming bounty of decay, savouring the putrid delectation of this extreme ambience. The corpsed animal has no head: a frayed hole discharges a cursed black slime forever.

Postecdysis Hunger is the 3rd release on the Most Dismal Swamp label.

I grew up on hip hop and have always been a hip hop musician first. Hip hop (and lo-fi indie rock) is the lens through which I always first approach making a song. After spending years listening to the music of our SoundCloud community, everyone's music has found a deep place in my heart. I believe that when hip hop artists first began sampling funk tracks in the 80s, it was out of love and respect for the music they grew up with and identified with. I now sample the music of my SoundCloud collaborators and friends to make new songs from those that I love. Tony Turn Around is a celebration of that process. It is a representation of the joy of sampling and the delight of playing around with cool sounds from musicians you respect and admire.
