SharkMan Bio -

Emerging on land from the great ocean, SharkMan (aka Jake Cawkwell) started mixing drum and bass as a bedroom DJ before building a name for himself mixing on the free party scene from the age of 16.

He has exploded onto the club and festival circuit mixing in clubs all over the UK, including Motion in Bristol, Beaver Works in Leeds, the Phoenix in Exeter, and at festivals such as Glastonbury, Bestival, Boomtown, Glade, Beach Break and many more, as well as in Europe at Freekuency in Portugal and Teknivals in France.

SharkMan has also joined forces with many promoters over the years, including Wonkavision, DMT, Brock Out, Resonate, BigLarge, Beats & Bass and co-running the mighty Backlash Sound System, and is now also a happy asset to Mingle Music.  Perhaps his biggest accomplishment of 2013 has been his residency for the mind blowing Arcadia Spectacular, with their afterburner and bug stages, and the infamous three-legged, fire-blowing spider stage.

From drum and bass to house, breakz, electro, ragga dnb and jungle, SharkMan can always be seen skanking as hard as his fellow ravers, and swimming through the wobbles in his shark costume everywhere he goes.
