Welcome to Sharmila Journeys, 
Music & Stories, the creative space of a songwriter, storyteller, and digital artist.
For many years I wrote poems quietly in my diary. They were words waiting in silence, shaped by the people I met, the places I travelled, and the emotions I carried. In 2025 those poems began to find music. They became songs across many genres,   pop, jazz, rock, folk, country, EDM, and metal. Each one carries its own atmosphere, its own story, its own landscape of feeling.
As a psychologist, yoga therapist, and Ayurvedic counsellor, I have spent my life listening closely to emotions. This deep listening does not end with healing work; it flows naturally into my songwriting. My music is not taken from private client stories. It rises from my own sensitivity, from human experience, from travel across cultures, from the whispers of nature, and even from the quiet presence of stones, rivers, and trees.
Every song I create is accompanied by original digital artwork, designed to capture the mood and spirit of the story. Together, words, music, and art become a journey.
In just the first weeks of sharing my music on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and SoundCloud, my songs have already begun to reach listeners organically around the world. This has encouraged me to step forward more openly as a songwriter, offering my catalog not only to listeners but also to filmmakers, music supervisors, and creative collaborators.
