Blighted to Pine

Nile Delta bleeds, a sickly green hue
Emerald swarm descends, breaking through
Jade carapace glints, a horrifying sight
Scarab legion crawls, consuming the light

Explorers came for riches, gems untold
Greed in their hearts, their stories unfold
They plundered the tombs, with avarice deep
Now the ancient curse from its slumber will leap

Jade Scarab God awakes! His wrath takes flight!
A crawling plague of emerald blight!
Punishment rains on the Nile's defiled shore
They sought earthly treasures, now they'll get (gore!)

Infestation spreads, a living tide
Flesh and bone consumed, nowhere to hide
The air thick with buzzing, a sickening drone
The Giant Scarab's vengeance upon them is shown

Their mansions of opulence, now crawling nests
Their cries of despair echo through their cursed guests
Each jewel they coveted, a trigger to doom
Sealed their wretched fate within this jade tomb

No escape from the clacking, the skittering sound
As the jade mandibles tear flesh from the ground
Their wealth means nothing, their power in vain
Under the curse of the emerald rain
