As a unit Shatter Effect create a wall of sound with hard pulsating rhythms, melodic bass, slamming guitars and fat analogue synths topped with Bex powerhouse vocal delivering deep & meaningful lyrics with raw emotion alike to a female equivalent of Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode" says Simon Britton co-producer with Jon Moon. 

In June, they signed an album deal with Wave 365 Media and have since recorded our debut album at Sensible Studios with Simon Britton & Jon Moon (Amy Winehouse, Faithless, Example, The Kooks etc). The label are looking to release early 2015, with multiple single releases commencing early Feb.

Leading up to Christmas, Shatter Effect featured on a Christmas Charity single with the Peace Collective that starred some of the biggest names in the industry, past and present. The single was a remake of The Farm’s, ‘All Together Now’ and included appearances from The Clash, Madness, David Gray, The Proclaimers, Clean Bandit, Gorgon City, Gabrielle, to name a few. 

Make Me Hate you, their first release from the debut album is now streaming a quite brilliant video.

ShaTTerZ of San Diego, California does just that by creating his own style of EDM with mixtures of almost every element & genre! Joe Woolsey started shattering EDM genre molds as soon as he starting producing in March of 2014.

When asked about his style Joe, AKA ShaTTerZ had this to say... "Well basically it breaks down like this. I started to watch tutorials on dubstep, then trap, & started making some really generic sounding tracks that I never finished. I then realized I enjoyed making stuff mainly from ear that was really creepy & dark and that's when I realized I wasn't going to label my music any certain type of music or follow any set pattern or layout. I basically make really dark electronic music, EDM, whatever you want to call it, I make what I make haha".

ShaTTerZ: "My Daughter, all great musicians in all genres, Horror, Life, The Horrors of Life haha.
In electronic music I would have to say my biggest influences are in no particular order: 
NiN, Skism, Crystal Castles, Skrillex, Dan Sena, Team Sleep (Chino of Deftones side project), Aphex Twin, Infected Mushroom, Datsik, Convulsic, Matta, Zomboy, Bro Safari, K Theory, Delta Heavy & soooo much more but yeah that's a quick off the top of the head kinda list.
