One of my first tracks produced, uploaded this to keep my memories of TATW alive (Above and Beyond's old radio show) 
I also assured JONO on twitter I would do so ;) This goes out to all three of them!

This track was signed to UpBeat Music who i found on the Anjunabeats Forums. It was a lovely place to sit and discuss things about music production. At the time i learned many things there. Met great friends who i later met in Melbourne when i moved there for my education. Daniel Kandi also gave me advice on what headphones to buy which i mixed down this track on. At the time MySpace had its cool little MP3 player which was used to show off music on your profiles. 

Im sure it exists now but i was just writing about what i was like making music in 2006 - 2008.

At the time i felt people were less bothered about the technical qualities of the track and focused more on how to improve and not find something wrong with music. I also felt there was less pressure to make a track that was popular or sold well. TATW also had a very melodic playlist which is why I used to tune in allot. I started with TATW 50 and didn't think in my wildest dreams id get featured on one of them later.

Some of my all time favourite tracks at the time was Paperjet by Paul Keeley and tracks like M from Ayumi Hamasaki (Above and beyonds remix). Another track back then i loved was Cirrus (Simon Paterson's Remix) originally by Oliver Smith.

I was contacted on the forums VIA DM about both demos that i uploaded for feedback on the forums (i didnt even send this in) but yeah, i signed with UPBEAT MUSIC and then moved to another city (LAHORE) at the time for a school debate (LUMUN) and I start getting emails from LA all the way down  to KURASHIKI in Japan about the track. Rocky from LA mentioned TATW in his subject line and I called my friend to check the show and turns out it even got announced! - This was a high point for me. Never really gave it my all after this it was more of getting lost and never finding my way back again due to various reasons.

So here you go my tribute to trance music from 2008
