BIOGRAPHY:
The words 'haunting', 'mesmeric', 'quirky', 'exceptional' and 'brilliant' have all been used to describe multi-instrumentalist Rosie Sleightholme, whose voice has been compared to the likes of Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez. Highlights over the last few years include live sessions on BBC Radio; performing at festivals including Glastonbury, End Of The Road and Fire in the Mountain; and solo tours around Ireland and Scotland, where she performed in Dingle, Doolin, Islay, Arran and Orkney. Rosie has supported established artists such as Show of Hands, Seth Lakeman, This Is The Kit, Stephen Steinbrink, Buke and Gase, The Mariner's Children and Alessi's Ark. She has performed at venues including Bristol’s Colston Hall and London’s Union Chapel, Notting Hill Arts Club, Ronnie Scotts and headlined at the The Half Moon. She has self-released six EPs and is working on her first LP. Her aim is to write and record honest music from the heart that others can relate to.

Titanic Letters

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, BBC Radio Ulster produced a series of short readings, featuring letters written by people caught up in the disaster, written before and after the Titanic sank.
