TIP Record's DJ/Producer Lucas O'Brien is back with the sequel to his highly acclaimed, chart-topping compilation 'Avant Garden' (2015) which features a selection of tried and tested sonically diverse tracks by some of his favourite artists that he's been playing in his DJ sets worldwide. For this project, Lucas sourced music from what he considers the most cutting edge, pioneering producers on the scene - Hallucinogen, Raja Ram, Ingrained Instincts, Outsiders, Laughing Buddha, Martian Arts, Earthspace, Audio Unit and Everblast - as well as being substantially involved in the production side himself under his various guises: 'SuperModule' (his solo project), 'Mandelbrot' (his project with Celli 'Earthling') and 'Sybarite' his project with Ric Featherstone. The compilation begins with one of Lucas' trademark introductions, once again collaborating with label founder Raja Ram. Designed to tickle the eardrums and get your body moving, Avant Garden II represents the flow of a psychedelic trance dance party by kicking off with a slower and groovier vibe, then building up the pace and intensity steadily as the album progresses... eventually reaching a more night-time style peak, whilst still keeping Lucas' characteristic funky element in the tunes. Towards the end of the album, the music transitions into a more dawn friendly style to land you safely onto a blissful cloud of psychedelia. ChakraView aka Juggerknot is the story of (Shaveer.M.Ahmed).

Exposed to music at a very young age, he started playing the guitar amongst other instruments like drums and the keyboard, also playing with several rock/metal bands during early 2000 and until most recently – Rampazze
Around 2005-06, his focus shifted to electronic music and production. He started the project “Felix” and started actively producing and releasing music since 2009. His first EP - “Anjuna to Assam” in 2010 as Felix is still considered a favorite for many listeners alike.

The Project ChakraView started in 2014, when Shaveer decided to find new directions with his sound. After producing a few tracks, he signed up with one of the pioneering Night time labels - World People production. Thereafter, he has released 2 Eps - “Riddim i Like” and “Make a Wish” and also his debut full length album – Fools paradise with the said label.
 
He has been constantly releasing several tracks with a huge plethora of international labels, and strives to keep going.

Trance music goes way back to the early caveman. They were dancing around the campfire at night and banging bones on bones making a little percussion, chanting, and going into trance under the moon and the stars. Today, in the 21st century, we are still doing the same thing. And the idea is that if you dance to this kind of particularly psychedelic music at faster bpms… and you do it for some time, you can go into a trance, or a trance-like state. And sometimes, you even have transcendent experiences, where you go outside of your body and beyond the normal world, into something special, something beyond words. Most of these things we can’t describe in words. But that’s what the idea of trance music is. And to me, it’s a special magic that we can’t get any other way. When you want to dance, and get high from dancing to music, this trance music takes us in a special way like nothing else does. It can be deeply meaningful with other people and within your own self.
