Well I was sitting in the lobby of the Commodore hotel 
When in walked a woman I used to know so well 
She was, looking like a million after all these years

As she walked across the room, to the reception desk 
A strange kind of feeling came into my chest 
And all them old memories came rushing in

The times we spent together

First time I held her hand I never will forget

Still got some old photographs from the time she used to call

Well, last time I saw her she was waving goodbye 
Walking down the road with teardrops in her eyes

This track is a collaboration with Masha @masha-solo the vocalist of Archmage Band @archmageband2 After creating a section arranged by her for the instrumental, I continued with other sections, and after completing the instrumental, she added the vocal melody to finish it.

'Writer's Block'

On a dark, cold, and rainy night
I drank a hot coffee and prepared to write
Hoping to finish more scenes of a novel tonight,
It was almost too complex, and very hard to get it right

"Alt. thought."

After spending 5 years writing the epic life story album that was "Child Of Dirt", we needed to write something from scratch that was an introspective on the world, this time on "alt thought", a spin on the mesh of madness spread across the world in war, propaganda, lies, slander, hate, denial, and conspiracy. We wrote 3 songs around this along with 2 more on a perspective on the suicide of someone close, and the experiences of growing up in school with a mind that isn't compatible. This became the album: "Birds Aren't Real", released 28/07/23.
