Giaçinté is a Maltese DJ and producer exploring experimental ambient and drone frequencies, blended with abstract techno grooves, deep basslines, and hypnotic textures. His work prioritises detailed sound selection and diverse electronic mixing. He also collaborates with Tina as immersjoni, presenting hybrid live electronic sessions that merge unconventional sounds, world instruments, and intricate vocals into evolving rhythmic landscapes. Giaçinté is also the co-founder of Magma, an intimate event focused on musical and visual journeys, fostering experimentation and communal creative spaces in Malta.

Building upon the striking elegance of their first collaboration, Tobias Freund (@tobias-freund) and Shun Watanabe (@doltzdeep) reunite as Tobias. Doltz. for another extended excursion into designer electronica with a warm, dubby glow at its centre. Their first album Versus arrived on Delsin in early 2025 as a result of a chance meeting at Eden Festival the year before. The spark of inspiration led quickly to a complete and coherent first body of work, and the same can be said for its prompt, equally inspired follow-up.

Dealing in the gentle hum of digitally sculpted ambience and needlepoint micro-pulses, Freund and Watanabe evoke the experimental spirit and mellow immersion of golden-era clicks n' cuts techno. While that early 00s phenomenon sometimes cracked around the edges of its DSP limitations, here a rich and porous sound world blooms out from the crisply defined structure of each track. At times the palette opens up to more organic sound matter, and there is ample space for full-bodied synths to ratchet down the rhythm, but a strong digital core of granular processing and exacting sound design form the bedrock of the album's subtle, sublime sound.

Even though its calm demeanour radiates an instant charm, like all great electronica Frontiers Of Science is an album of hidden depths to be absorbed steadily over subsequent trips.

"the mix reflects how i currently interpret the hyphen sound, which is of course a spectrum that i occupy a certain space within. i describe my sound as “mental trips and primal grooves”. that means low-end energy that moves the body combined with tripped-out soundscapes you can lose yourself in.

the mix is a coherent one-hour journey recorded with three decks and some additional sampling. it layers ambient textures with deep, textured techno and a few bass-leaning tracks. i tried to find a sweet spot where the energy works both on a dance floor and in a home listening environment, which is where most people probably experience mix podcasts."

This compilation has been created to support people in Palestine who are in urgent need of basic humanitarian aid.
Today, civilian life in Gaza and the West Bank is marked by extreme hardship. Most parts of the population face shortages of food, clean water, electricity, medical care, and safe shelter.

This release brings together artists from diverse scenes and backgrounds, united by a shared intention to provide tangible support through music. Volume 1 focuses on club-oriented sounds, with each track created specifically for this compilation.

Common Tongue is a non-commercial, volunteer-run project dedicated exclusively to fundraiser releases and events.
Working with international underground artists, the project uses music as a shared language to raise funds and awareness for humanitarian causes.
All proceeds generated through releases and events are donated.

medico international e.V. was founded in 1968 and is an internationally-operating humanitarian aid and human rights organization. Its work focuses on long-term partnerships with local initiatives, supporting communities directly affected by crisis, conflict, and structural injustices.

In Palestine, medico works with partner organizations including the Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS). These partnerships work to provide basic humanitarian assistance, medical care, and mental health support in both Gaza and the West Bank.

medico’s approach emphasizes community-based structures and political responsibility alongside immediate aid. As stated on their website:

“We believe that the same rights apply to everyone and must be defended universally. Our mission is to create social conditions that foster dignity and justice, ensuring that all individuals can live free from poverty and enjoy the best possible health.”
