Berlin-based artist Marie Tjong Ayong delivers a captivating four-tracker with her „motherland“ EP, which unfolds like a sonic ritual — earthy, dubby, and steeped in natural rhythm.

Navigating fluidly between dub techno, grey area, downtempo, and breakbeat, the EP carves out its own genre-blurring identity. The sound is rooted in a warm, organic atmosphere, driven by percussive detail and an unmistakably natural flow. You can sense Marie’s background as a trained jazz trumpeter in the subtle musical intelligence that underlies each movement.

From the driving, rhythm-heavy opener „freshelle“ to the introspective, bass-laden „tiger balm“, the EP continuously shifts form and energy. „desert of boredom“ maintains the dub-soaked aesthetic while injecting a more forceful groove, before "rodeo of the bugs“ rounds things off with deep, muted dub techno and refined percussive finesse.

Sure Thing welcomes the Warsaw-based, Ukrainian artist Space Biology to the label, who delivers an elegant and enigmatic two-tracker that blurs the boundaries between the organic and the incorporeal, rendering phantoms into illusive sonic ephemera. Two remixes from Thailand’s Sunju Hargun and Sweden’s Evigt Mörker complete the vision, reconfiguring each original track in masterful and signature style and bringing new energies to focus.

His sound draws from obscure samples and raw sound design in
an ongoing exploration of intense, visceral music for body and
soul. He has performed across the globe, both live and as a DJ, at
festivals such as Unsound, Atonal, Lunchmeat, MIRA and Rewire,
and clubs like Berghain, Tresor, White Hotel and Circus Tokyo.

An active collaborator he has worked with a long list of artists
including: LAIR, Saint Abdullah, Arad, Paula Temple, Kyoka, MC

Harmony marches eastward with its 21st EP, reconnecting with its roots through a collaboration with Kohra and Monophonik. This release leans into a sharper focus on functional, dance oriented grooves and basslines.

A-side is opening with weight and intent, shedding the EP’s melancholic hues for something darker and more forceful. The gently broken spirit of “Uyire” follows, gliding between drones and gated vocals, stitched together by tactile percussion and an underlying volatility.

Na Nich returns to his roots after a series of successful releases on respected labels such as Delsin, Semantica, On Board, and Fur:ther Sessions. The Ukrainian producer’s latest EP pays tribute to his foundation in broken beats and bass music — the core of his craft before adopting the Na Nich moniker.
Co-founder of Rhythm Büro and formerly known as Sunchase, Oleksandr Pavlenko shifted from his decades-long bass music career towards house and techno about ten years ago. Yet those early influences never truly disappeared. On Your Curves, Oleksandr skillfully blends his bass-heavy legacy with the sonic palettes characteristic of his later work, merging two worlds into a cohesive sound.
The A-side opens with ‘Unfulfilled Expectations’, a deep roller rich with bass textures and mellow synths. It’s followed by ‘Everything’, a slow burner infused with ’90s vibes, featuring old-school vocal samples and a drum pattern reminiscent of UK garage. On the flip side, ‘Rain Inside’ delivers the EP’s grooviest moment, with broken beats crafted for the dancefloor and an intimate, close-your-eyes 4 a.m. mood. The title track, ‘Your Curves’, closes the EP with a deep and melancholic atmosphere.
This release stands out amid contemporary offerings, reminding listeners that essence always triumphs over form.

An artist in the purest sense, Berlin-based Steffi has previously said she wants to be remembered for her work and nothing else. Monitoring her career closely herself, it's easy to see how her consistent growth as a producer and DJ is motivated by keeping her integrity as an artist. With three albums on Ostgut Ton now, her recent World Of The Waking State LP saw her deliver an album more experimental than previous efforts, yet one produced at a time feeling settled more comfortably in her own skin. Seeking new and exciting outlets to express her projects her own labels Klakson and Dolly have been a continual source of new music. She's released a culmination of 70 records from an abundance of friends and new producers, as well as her own, over four different labels and sub-labels. We caught up with Steffi to discuss Klakson and Dolly, her productions with fellow Ostgut Ton artist Virginia, as well as finding the balance between studio and tour time. With not a single four-by-four kick drum in sight, her Truancy Volume is an arc back to her long-time affinity with early Warp and IDM records. Steffi has mentioned in the past how much of an influence the first Autechre album had on her, so it's no surprise their music finds a home in this mix.
