This mix was inspired by the time I spent in my hometown Belgrade following the period of being quite musically inactive and physically away. Amid events unfolding in Serbia, there was one particular incident with a 2-year-old child named Danka, who disappeared. The emotions and memories of this accident have been tried to be captured in this mix. A fight for our children's brighter and safer future and a much better tomorrow is yet to come. But contributing in any way to that struggle or being conscious about the problems these children and our society are facing is something I dared to commit to and tried to understand.
Challenged by this immense inspiration, I have decided to do something I'd never done before. I've recorded a mix that starts from 80-something bpms and gradually develops into 120 and something bpms (without any particular preparation). By doing this, I also wanted to give my best and honour a great and personally very well respected artist who played after me on that occasion.
