Joining Jah-Tek on Reform Radio this month is Bliss - a DJ, producer, and vocalist from West Yorkshire whose sets weave through dub, garage, jungle, and the darker ends of UK club music. Her style is fluid and instinctive, built on shifting rhythms and heavy low end energy.

Bliss has supported artists like Jack Banner, Tht Girl, and Denham Audio, and recently played at Rosa Festival. She also co-runs two grassroots nights - Rising Underground UK and Gorls Night  - both focused on platforming new talent and pushing underground sounds forward.

Expect a guest mix full of depth, movement, and sound system weight.

Maria Saba is an Egyptian DJ, visual artist, and production designer, and a co-founder of Dhamma Collective. Based between Cairo and France, she cut her teeth in Bordeaux’s underground scene, where her sets began taking shape around raw, body-driven club sounds. Maria plays a blend of techno, breakbeat, and bass—revisiting the energy of her first rave through stripped-back percussion and low-end pressure. With Dhamma, she’s been central to reshaping Cairo’s dancefloors, curating nights that fuse sound with immersive visuals and performance.

Maria Saba’s mix is a percussive, bass-driven set that navigates the intersections of UK bass, breakbeat, and leftfield club sounds. With a focus on swung rhythmic structures and sound system pressure, the mix weaves together shuffling 2-step grooves, broken techno, and dubwise textures.

Throughout the set, she blends the rough-cut sensibility of lo-fi drum machines with digital precision—contrasting crunchy, bit-reduced snares and dusty hi-hats with tightly sculpted low-end. The track selection leans into syncopation and rhythmic tension: polyrhythms emerge through chopped vocal edits, shuffled breaks, and off-grid drum programming. Melodic elements stay minimal and atmospheric—bleeding in through filtered pads, warped chord stabs, or spectral vocal fragments that serve the groove rather than dominate it.
