Based in Miami, Samihe makes a welcome return to Loot Recordings with his first proper release after contributing to the label’s “The Goods” compilation series. The release showcases his musical prowess and provocative style of deep, melodic sounds
and includes a phenomenal remix from Newman (I Love).
The title track “Eureka” unfolds as a slow-burning odyssey adorned with twinkling melodies, gradually building to a crescendo of emotive strings that will melt hearts. New York-based Newman increases the energy with his signature blend of organic house
rhythms and dreamy melodies, adding in big chord stabs while maintaining a perfectbalance with the original’s powerful strings.
“Delight” is powered by an evocative bassline and enchanting soundscape that’s intricately layered with organic percussion and a playful melodic hook. Vicky Montefusco joins the fold with his single ‘Prosopopea’, which traverses a diverse sonic range, which includes breaks and 4/4, alongside a creative house rework from Auggië. The 3 track blinder is a great introduction to his well known indie/techno grooves.

The Italian DJ and producer has previously had releases on Internasjonal, Ilinx and Space Factory and has been supported by a diamond-plated roster of the uber-cool: Maceo Plex, Troy Pierce, Ivan Smagghe, Jesper Dahlback, Man Power, Coyu and Curses are just some of the names who’ve jumped on board.

Founded on a central riff, both of Vicky’s versions are the perfect balance of what a melodic track should be in 2024; never a million miles from his Italo-disco heritage, they further prove the timeless quality at the heart of all the best electronic records. Auggië’s take, although very different, isn't far away its ethos either, though his version looks across the Atlantic to Detroit, with its edgy house vibe that balances warmth and power in equal measure.
