In Episode 01 of conversations with Janet, She finds a wounded crow & walks with it for a while. The team isn't sure what to do because Janet wants to take the crow to a vet! we don't have space (we're stuck in a tiny car, the three of us & our puppy jostling around for space fighting off our luggage & equipment). And then a kind family seeing Janet caring for the wounded being are quietly moved & invite us home for lunch!

This afternoon, we picked up Janet just as a storm along the coast was coming in. We headed for a hill once visited by Ibn Batuta. We drove up through some rain & fog to the very top where a huge statue of Lord Hanuman stood, His hair behind him in waves as he gazes over the earth in this place; the coastline along which The Walk is happening. Janet was slightly distracted on this audio recording.
