I am a Producer and Recording/Mixing Engineer From Seattle, WA. I have been in music recording for over 10 years and capturing and manipulating sound waves is my passion!

Shawn began playing music at the age of 12 and around the age of 15 began writing pop music. He used the songs he wrote to study home recording techniques via multiple formats and honed his craft, always staying current with the latest home recording technology along the way. On Shawn’s first major release, 2015’s “6 Songs for 12 Girls” Shawn played all the instruments, excluding the masterfully played drums and percussion (Dave Heath), overdubbing and multi-tracking his voice, guitars, bass, keyboards and more.  The result is an EP that is not only fun to dance to, but full sounding and highlights the multiple instruments Shawn plays. The sound and style of Shawn Douglas music, known to his fans as “Shawnsongs” are rhythmic and fun, easy to sing along with, lyrically clever and sometimes thought provoking, though not too often.

Shawn graduated from Evergreen with his Bachelor of the arts in Puppetry, including studies in Music Production, Songwriting and Theater acting/writing/directing.
