في هذه الأبيات تخاطب زوجها الذي جفاها بعد أن كان يفيض عليها بالمودة والرسائل العذبة، فتسرد ألم السهاد، وجراح البعد، ومرارة الهجر، في مزيج من العاطفة الصادقة واللغة الرقيقة.
