Started this game a few months ago (haha read: Laure Croft presents tune raider) and I am super excited to share the recording of the set I played on my first gig. Never recorded anything, so hearing my own set for the first time myself was quite an experience! Also playing this first time on big sound system and having these new types of nerves and adrenaline rushing through my body, lead to some challenging moments during the set. I decided to post it, even though there are some minor mistakes in it, but hey, every game starts at level one. 

Would love to hear what you think of the set, and fyi: I’m a big fan of honest feedback.

"The set is showcasing what I'm seeking to produce during my gigs at the moment, a mind trip between genres intensity and mood. For me, the art of mixing is like telling a story, with a super-deep common thread. I don't like banging or tripping for two hours, on the contrary, I love when you can navigate through uncharted and unexpected territories. You do nothing but undoubtedly find the proper balance. The REC series compiles outstanding performances recorded in the club throughout the year, highlighting artists representing our love for electronic music.

Stranger is our third REC’ series protagonist. Spiritual father of Rotterdam-based label Self Reflektion, he has released names like Deniro, Rove Ranger or Vil in the past recent years, making his imprint a recognized and sought-after creative platform. 

After a boiling hot night at Fuse in summer, there was no doubt that it was necessary to release this techno testimony. The Dutch’ set is beautifully hard to recap, as his performance was a real trip in a psychedelic fair. Without concession, Stranger carries you from one ride to another: embrace the neon light and feel the aerodynamics of this pure talent.

Julian Muller’s progression into the techno scene has been marked by an eclectic odyssey through genre-defying soundscapes.

Hailing from France, via Berlin and now currently based in Brussels, he crafted his sonic aesthetic as a vinyl selector and has since produced his own signature sound that has led to the release of his debut album alongside precious releases on notable imprints KAOS and A.R.TS.

Julian just launched his own imprint : NALI,  with the aim to push his vision and creative spirit to support artists to grow within the strength of a unique creative platform.
