InSession 003

InSession 004 is an eclectic exploration for me to play a little bit of a more diverse selection of genres and tracks that are true to a range of my tastes - old and new. 

Have previously included some breaks into the endings of some of my sets, however here I really wanted to start things off with some nasty toe curlers and let this part of my music taste take the forefront of this InSession whilst finding ways to transition into my more characteristic sound of bouncy, vocal, jacking and groovy techno.

Really hope you all like this, worked quite a bit on this incl. the artwork.

Rawting's forthcoming debut EP 'On One'.

A three-track EP, exploring Rawting's signature style of bouncy, tom-heavy, percussive-led techno and deep, heavy-hitting breaks accented with chopped vocals.

Kicking the EP off is the title track, 'On One'. As the name suggests, it delivers the vibe of being on a mad one... A deep, driving, breakbeat stomper with some baddie vocals to match.

Re-Up is a bit of a homage to Rawting's hometown, London. After relocating to Naarm/Melbourne, he wanted to sonically capture a memory of nights had in London's most iconic parties and clubs. A bouncy techno track with some signature breaks snuck in, keeping in line with the EP. This track features a London Mix, along with a little easter-egg for those with keen eyes/ears/minds ;)

Rounding out the EP is Tagteam, another heavy-hitting breaks track intended for peak-time-play when you really want to heat things up. With this tune, he aimed to pay a subtle nod to his adolescence spent in DnB raves, incorporating wobbly basses and foghorns commonly found in rollers, but translated into a techno/breaks sphere.

With a key focus on breaks and low-end club-ready dancefloor weapons, this EP cements Rawting's production style and delivers a taste of his growing capabilities as an emerging producer.
