I sampled my fridge, then with a spectrum analyzer figured out which freqs were more prevalent in the hum. Figured out a few semitones roughly between a B and a C note and a little bit between E and F were most common in the hum.  So, all the music is basically in that little 4 note scale.  I automated the volume on the master track to do kind of an oscillating volume thing, sort of like a motor.  The floor tom beat kind of mirrors that rhythm too.
