After two years of inactivity in Zapadores, Josephine Soundscapes proposed a trip in her musical and affective memory, the set was complemented by a live visual show performed together with her partner in a_mal_gam_a, Diskoan (@diskoan), in which predatory nature was the protagonist. -

Josephine’ Soundscapes (@machines-desirantes) is Jose Salas, an audiovisual creator, art director and active promoter of Madrid alternative culture. As a Dj, he always works with a mixture of investigation of the past and a strong commitment to the present. He's part of a_mal_gam_a (@a_mal_gam_a) and CALMA (@calmamadrid) collectives, both working in Spain electronic underground scene. He also hosts a bimonthly radio program on Radio Relativa (@radio-relativa) called "Campos de Marte" (http://camposdemarte.net/), focused on experimentation in music.

Utilizing a combination of purely analog mixing, a variety of field recording methods and dubbing it in real time - hands on the controls, no edits, no computer, just the ghostly harmonics and shivery bi-products you would come to expect of obsolete vintage electronics. The analog warmth has never sounded so sweet, mixed at antique modulation in Ann Arbor. Double CD housed in a beautiful retro matte finished eco wallet with UV coat.

Very proud to welcome as our next guest one heck of an artist from our side of the pond, ALTSTADT ECHO. Hailing from Detroit, he's part of the new-wave techno artists to have made quite a splash onto the scene in the last few years. Thus far, he has been associated with Blank Code's LTD releases, which lean towards the avant-garde and experimental textures of techno, as well his own imprint, Modern Cathedrals  – marking this Fall its 4th vinyl release by the man himself.

Shortly, the label will be revealing its Fall schedule of events slated to take place across new venues throughout the Motor City and will be featuring both techno legends as well as newer, younger artists exploring the depths of noise and sound as they relate to the subtleties of the genre. As you will be able to listen in the next hour, Altstadt's sound is layered and complex, and the cohesiveness and harmonies of the sound arrangements are top in class. Tune in and enjoy, folks! :)
