Subwilder is a convergence of distant orbits—one a reclusive painter turned post-punk troubadour, the other a sound engineer shaped by global dance floors and the dust of Burning Man. What began as an unlikely union has become a shared pursuit of something both primal and transcendent.

Their music pulses with shadow and shimmer—melodic house shaded in dusky tones and driven by a groove that is chasing the infinite horizon. With influences ranging from David August and Oliver Kolettzki to Burial and Oneohtrix Point Never, Subwilder crafts experiences to chart the tensions of isolation and connection, the physical and the ethereal.

Their live sets are more than performance—they are rituals of rhythm and reflection. Vocal hooks mesmerize, in a poetic battle between the guiding voice in your heart and the chaotic thoughts of your brain. This Beatnik incantation lives within a terrain of hypnotic beats, drawing dancers into something that feels both ancient and electric. The music of Subwilder creates a moment of elevation with movement in the body, to the mind and for the soul.
