This is a fine composition by Jan Torkewitz, and it was its première, recorded in April 2019. It evokes some avantgarde music of the 1920's. We played monthly at the time, with a new programme each time, after two rehearsels in the morning. We had about half an hour for each piece, so this is probably the second time it was played completely.
Alto solo is by Claudius Stallbaum, trombone by Florian Hertel, I suppose. I'm playing the baritone, and the GCO is a group of some very fine musicians from Cologne and surroundings.
