My version of a chaconne, an application of a bit of Henry Cowell's ideas for rhythm (as previously embodied in Leon Theremin's Rhythmicon). Written using a seven-note subset of a microtonal Meta-Slendro scale. This is my first published work to incorporate percussion (albeit synthesized or sampled)

This was recorded in a single take. There is post-processing (mixing and mastering) but no edits or overdubs. Some effects are digital, but all sound sources are analog, as are some of the effects.

Layers:
- a cloud of tones from two Wingie2 resonators, triggered by chaotic/stochastic triggers
- a slow repeating melody rendered on modular synth (XPO + DPO) with multiple layers in unison (including a layer processed by the Cosmodio Glitch Witch pitch-modulated fuzz pedal), using Make Noise 0-Ctrl as sequencer
- a bass line that follows the melody, produced by the EAE Prismatic Wall resonator pedal with the Red Panda Labs Radius ring modulator, also driven by the 0-Coast 
- synthetic percussion, a combination of the Neutral Labs Scrooge (triggered by the Beast-Tek Amoeba and Mystic Circuits IDUM modules) and Disting EX sample playback (also triggered by Amoeba)

"Nobody’s Watching" by TDC is a shadow-born anthem straight out of the digital void — a bold, cinematic track that echoes the haunting energy of Darkside by Neoni, but this time reimagined through the voice and mind of Mrs. Nobody. It’s not just a song — it’s a psychological descent wrapped in glitchy synths, whispered threats, and a venom-laced smile.
Laced with distorted confidence, smooth tonal shifts, and the iconic “Lade Lade Da” chant, the track feels like a lullaby you shouldn’t trust — sweet at first, but quickly twisted. This song represents the unpredictable chaos behind quiet people, the strength in invisibility, and the truth that not everyone who stays silent is asleep. Some are watching. Listening. Waiting.

From the moment the intro whispers “They only fear me when I smile…”, you know you're not in a typical verse-chorus drop formula. You’re entering a room where reality flickers, masks glitch, and Mrs. Nobody walks the edge of every thought you try to suppress. She isn’t here to be understood. She’s here to remind you that even in the silence — she’s still here.

The chorus breaks wide open with hypnotic repetition and subtle menace:

“Lade lade da… nobody’s watching, but I still see you.”
It’s playful and sinister all at once — designed to feel like a chant in the dark, the kind of melody that loops in your head long after the music cuts off. As the beat pulses under ethereal strings and crunchy FX, Mrs. Nobody’s voice shifts from soft-spoken mischief to full, unshaken control. She’s not hiding in the dark. She is the dark.
Midway through the song, the bridge melts down time. The vocals are slowed, reverb-heavy, and layered like a broken reflection. It’s a direct message to listeners who ever dared to overlook the quiet one. The ones who pretended to understand — but never did. The ones who laughed at the wrong time… and forgot who was listening.

Every bar bleeds intention. Every pause is a decision.
“Lade lade da” becomes more than just a hook — it’s a smile sharpened to a blade.

And in true Mrs. Nobody fashion, the outro isn’t loud. It’s soft.
So soft it makes you uncomfortable:

“Nobody’s watching… but I still see everything.”
This song is for the girls with layered personalities. For the alters. The silent protectors. The misunderstood. The ones that glitch when the system gets too loud. It’s not a battle cry — it’s a warning in lullaby form.
Mrs. Nobody doesn’t need your attention. She already knows your secrets.
