we could afford this, for everyone, just look at the way streaming works
creates disparity: new musicians get access funding? No, does a music guild provide people interested in learning a path to learn? or do they distract you, while brutal conditions weed out friends
to live and practice, which there is a surplus of money in the music industry. instead of the 1% getting all the profit from money, or even the company who serves it, but that money should be used to re-investing back into music, by providing instruments, training sessions which and both are being paid a salary
enabling all those who wish to explore music should benefit from the massive amount of money made, its not hard to imagine it being different without. through a global union, we could be distributing our music, by ourselves (or with band), expanding to take on more +more genres until
music is owned by the creators

federation of cooperatives that prefer different structure but still will to support everyone, the artists who want to try the arts, to the musician moving between locations and touring 
the concept of you not owning your own songs should be ludicrous	 and we could have a streaming platform together, that benefits the most, by making the most talented musician come back down to earth just a little bit, we have enough for a fairer system and still for the 1% to enjoy privileges of being successful, without them being so insanely big that they start thinking “what comes next”. So a cap on wealth, instead of creating great disparity, we create a music system that takes that massive profits and uses them to begin building the systems we need to survive, we all know the whole fucking ecosystem is fucked, and if not this then what?
