This album is made by Bplrxxiii and Native Cell. We worked on and off on it, over a period of two years (2017-2019). It was a fun creative process, sending each other ideas back and forth to achieve intriguing sounds and soundscapes. Our inspiration was taken in nature and the infinitely large and infinitely small. Mixed with retro-futuristic vibe, ambiant and glitchy spiked details.

Family Catalogue

After a recent request to hear a previous mix-up from a live set, which I'd be hard pressed to recreate because of the moment and situation, I decided instead to take it all a little different and combine and share. This is a remix of two very disparate sources which I'm trying to resolve un-peaceably. Quite ridiculously, with much joy; I do hope you enjoy. Thank you for asking those who did!

KChainsaw (Daedelus' Pacifically Mangled)

By Open Mike Eagle, slightly slowed and remixed in the style to which I've been calling Pacific. I was drawn to this original last year, always playing with the idea of trying a remix, but the track proved impervious until now. You see it is almost impossible to alter music you find perfect as is (many thanks to Willie Green). I only gained the nerve to do so when I started to really mess with the elements I was adding - not so much the song itself, which is abstracted and distended, but not fundamentally exploded. Shouts to Lil' Jabba for a bassline grab, and to Jan Driver for a kick drum or three, plus countless other samples made on tour in Korea recently.
