Born and raised in Snohomish County, Washington

I am Jared Estes, i have been a Washington native all my life, and currently reside in Olympia, WA with my beautiful girlfriend Anna Rose. 
      Although i have played music all of my life, about two years ago (written in 2013) i had many things happen in my life that led to a change in my music. Which included a switch to acoustic guitar, in a search for the music of our country's roots, as well as a more organic and honest sound. 
    Our country has a very rich cultural and musical heritage, and that along with many in's and out's of current American life have affected and shaped my music. So while continuing to honor many long passed folk musicians and songs, i also consider my place in music today as an attempt to breath new life into a rich history of folk music.
My music is a result of trying to come back to terms with daily life as a human in modern society. Its a search for something real, something honest, something organic. So in honor of all those who have passed, let us play!
